  2. The Patreon link does seem to be incorrect. Try this one if still interested. Cheers! https://www.patreon.com/user?u=4816033&fan_landing=true
  3. Collision Lines confirmed not exporting with latest EDM exporter. I have run through a few different collision model exports testing this. The same collision models export fine in 2016 but not in 2020. Is there a timeline on when we can expect this to be updated?
  4. Yessir! Check our first pass cockpit reveal we did a few weeks ago.
  5. Little update while we prep for the upcoming Virtual Airshows. Got a new coat of paint for the show! Come watch us fly Sat. 8th of August 10:00-13:00 in the East Kirkby Virtual Air Show hosted by Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Center.
  6. T45 Weapons Testing This update is about weapons. We have an early stage functioning CCIP and wrapped up the custom new 6 station bomb rack for the pylons. Enjoy and we'll get a video showcasing the functionality soon! For now please enjoy the models, in engine, and some static shots from the testing. -Particleman VNAO Simulations
  7. Consider it as extensive as any other DCS paid module. The pit is fully clickable and everything that should be mappable to a HOTAS, MFD, custom panels should work as intended. Hope that info helps! -Particleman
  8. T45C Carrier Testing Session Video Just posted another progress video of some of the recent Supercarrier testing for the T45C. Enjoy!
  9. T45C Cockpit Preview! It's time. We have been hard at work rebuilding the cockpit to be the T45C model. Here is the preview we promised. Still lots to do but it's coming along. Hope you enjoy and be sure to check out the quick in-engine video preview of the pit on our youtube channel! Also if you haven't checked out our VNAO Squadron Ready Room be sure to hit up the Userfiles link here and try it out today! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310351/ -Particleman VNAO Simulations
  10. Is this a screenshot in Singleplayer? It should only show that if you are in SP. Try running in MP and it should go away. We have seen one edge case where that still shows up in MP and in that case we don't know what causes it and you'll need to probably place it at an airfield. Hope that helps. -Particleman
  11. So I've not seen that before unless on one of the computers it's not installed correctly. If you select any other slot then Pilot 1 and hit briefing fly you would get the result you are talking about because technically there is no 'pilot' in command of the aircraft. If you are just solo make sure to select Pilot 1 and you should load in then you can use the view number keys to move around. Always make sure there is a Pilot one before adding additional pilots. Also, quick sidenote, if you have say 15 pilots in the room and someone else wants to take control of the briefing it 'should' allow you to request control and have the non pilot one now control the room. If that doesn't work, it's spotty sometimes, you can also have Pilot 1 leave the room, all other pilots will be temporarily, visually pushed back to the loading screen but if you have another player join Pilot 1 when they hit briefing/fly then all Pilots that were attached to the room should be rejoined auto magically back where they were. Hope that info helps. Cheers! -Particleman
  12. Everyone needs to install the slides but the host/first pilot is the only one that can control the slide playback and the lighting. Others can hit the 1 key to move to the podium, they should start there by default then can hit 1-0, LShift 1-0, RShift1-5 to swap around the room. Yeah TVs are really underwhelming. They are just mirrors and based on the seat position they will change considerably. We want to add a fixed camera but since we don't have the full SDK we can't do something like a live plat, yet... We're trying to work around it and get something. Would love to see the Rampagers livery and when you get it done if you want to share I'll add it to the next patch! Cheers! -Particleman
  13. This can be done in the DROP_SLIDES_HERE folder in the mod. Just add your custom slides ther and they show up in the game. Map the lights to an axis and you can dim them.
  14. Yes. We avoided using DDS for all content that most people would want to update. It's more of a 'standard' format for game engines and gives very good quality. Most image editing programs should be able to save or export to the TGA format easily. DDS would require an additional plug-in and some knowledge of how the DDS format works as there are alot of variations and flavors of it. Hope that info helps. -Particleman
  15. Actually it's already setup for that. Just open the textures folder in the mod and everything is very clearly labled and setup. If you look in the liveries folder you'll see two liveries setup as examples. Copy and past the Argonauts livery, open the description and edit to reflect what you want to change and then update the textures. I'm hoping to make a video to show how this works soon. Just open the file in Photoshop, modify the texture, save. That should be it. -Particleman
  16. It's actually a hack right now and that's a mirror which is why it seems to shift position when you move around seats. Another thing we are trying to add if possible is a locked camera.
  17. No pilots in seats yet. We're working on it.
  18. That is known. We found that you should still be able to use all 4 cats even though it's there. If it becomes an issue we have used the RR at an air base and with the audio file it still appears you are on a carrier. Not ideal but it still works.
  19. The RR is a helicopter. Just place a new heli, make sure to set it to client, pick the livery if you have a custom one or pick from one of the two we provide and that's it. Fire up the server and you should see the 25 slots that pilots can join into. Cheers! -Particleman
  20. Okay since the Userfile request still isn't approved I'm just going to host it locally until it's approved. Here is a link with the public release version. Enjoy! https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310351/ Userfiles Download link now active. -Particleman VNAO Simulations
  21. VNAO Ready Room has been added to the Userfiles que. NOT LIVE YET Just wanted to post a quick update that I have submitted the VNAO Ready Room to the Userfiles que. It's just awaiting approval from the ED admins and it will be live. Hopefully it will be available within the next few hours. Would love to see how you use it, squad liveries etc once everyone starts to use it. Also if you create a livery pack for your squadron please feel free to share it back to me and I'll include it in the future releases for all to enjoy! Cheers! -Particleman
  22. Download Link: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3310351/ Just place a new heli, make sure to set it to client, pick the livery if you have a custom one or pick from one of the two we provide and that's it. Fire up the server and you should see the 25 slots that pilots can join into. We are happy to announce after a large amount of time and effort our in game Ready Room is days away from publicly releasing. After many successful weeks of testing with missions and pilots we feel confident that many will find themselves right at home using this module. Some of the features include: - Space for up to 25 pilots all in the same room. - Sync'd briefing screen that can be updated and used over Multiplayer sessions. - Lighting that can be toggled off via the L key during briefings. - Animated accent features. - Ambient audio to simulate the environment better. - Can be placed on the carrier or on land depending on what you need. (It's based on a heli so just place it 'takeoff from ground' or 'takeoff from runway 4' on carrier and you're all set!) - Completely customizable posters, chair textures and whatever else you want to change to make it fit your squads liveries. Just set up a livery pack and when placing in the mission select your squadrons livery pack. This means each squad flying can have their own briefing room all in the same mission! We've spent many hours and lots of effort putting this module together and know the community will enjoy it as much as we do. Every mission we do now begins and ends here. Debriefs are a lot more entertaining now. -Particleman VNAO Discord: https://discord.gg/aWkyzn3
  23. We are not seeking 3rd Party Dev Status. We are not seeking 3rd party dev status. Just wanted to say that again. There are alot of reasons why but mostly because it's not what our future goals include. The team has been updating the module to work with the new supercarrier, which it does, and adding more functionality to systems. After we wrap up the initial milestone of delivering the DCS version we will be shifting our focus to deliver versions to XPlane and MSFS2020. Very soon we'll be showing our first pass pit for the C model. We have both the front and rear pit in and it's been in testing for a few weeks with all the major systems functional and usable. Just have a few more misc items to throw first pass materials on and we'll get them out to the masses to view. Cheers! -Particleman
  24. T45 Goshawk Development Update Update on the progress and features of the VNAO T45 Aircraft Module Today marks a big milestone. We are announcing that we have successfully migrated to an EFM aircraft for the T45. With the hard work and research of many people we are now confident that we can announce that we have multicrew, control handoff of flight, basic weapon systems, MFD operation and a flight model that is constantly being tuned and tested by aviators who have real flight hours in this aircraft. There is still a large amount of work to be done on this but we are continually flying and refining the systems as we find things that can be improved. This project is the stepping stone for many projects we have scheduled for DCS and other flight sims going forward. If you would like to support this project and possibly take part in the development of content and future modules please visit us at the VNAO official discord: https://discord.gg/aWkyzn3 If you would like to know more head over to our Patreon where we have more info on the featureset we currently have in the aircraft or is WiP. If you would like to support our efforts that would great as well but is never required. Gotta buy the beer somehow. We will continue to make updates here as more progress and info is available but feel free to drop by the Patreon as it will also showcase some of the other projects we have in development. Hope that gives you a bit more insight into the progress we are making and what our goals are for the aircraft. The DCS version of this aircraft will be free. Some have asked if they could make donations to support the development of content like this and that is why we finally decided to started to support that. Donations are always welcome to support the hard work of the team who is tirelessly devoting their free hours to this project and many others we have in development. Whether you choose to support us monetarily or just with kind words and constructive criticisms we will still strive to deliver a solid aircraft for all to enjoy. -Particleman VNAO Discord: https://discord.gg/aWkyzn3 Patreon: Patreon
