Build your own button box easily!
farmertom replied to Pac-Man's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I like it! Can the zero delay controller boards be daisy chained together? That way you could get more than 10 buttons. Looking at the pictures from Amazon website, I see a 5 pin USB connector. Can that used for daisy chaining? Thanks :joystick: -

Ok I will try that. There use to be a "recover", but I can't find it anymore What does the roll menu look like. I am unfamiliar with that term. Is that the menu you get after you hit escape?

I would like to practice my landing flair on the P-51.:joystick: I have a mission that is on 0.5 mile final, but what I would like is to be able to "jump back" to the start position at the flick of a switch. Right now I have to exit the mission and restart which takes a lot of time. Is there a way to respawn a new aircraft to the start position? Thanks for any help :book::doh:

Looks like you had a good time... I still get that way even after 6 months. :D

Need Help,All FC3 keys and axis were lost
farmertom replied to raptorcn's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
I would not wait for DCS to solve your problem. Like I said earlier it would pay for you to learn how to program your controllers. I don't have a warthog. After you delete all of DCS key bindings settings did you save the controller profile? Save all three.(stick, throttle, rudder). There are many HOTAS profiles available. Having a Warthog there should be plenty of help and advice online if you find the correct thread. Good Luck. -
Need Help,All FC3 keys and axis were lost
farmertom replied to raptorcn's topic in Controller & Assignment Bugs
depends on your particular hardware. If you have an X-52 or X-55, try going to controller tab and clear the throttle and stick controller settings. DCS is starting to build default Hotas setting for controllers and it is screwing thing up. A word of advice I would start to learn how to configure your controller for I feel we will be doing this again. Good luck -
Since all of the ***** regarding the controller setup lately. What is the proper way to program/setup a HOTAS now? I have a Saitek X-55 Controller. The way I have programmed it in the past was to use the Saitek software. Removing any setup in the DCS controller tabs. That still works for me but do I need to change my setup? :joystick::doh: Thnaks

Hotas Not working Please help FACTS: Using Windows 10, Latest update to DCS world RELEASE VERSION, Repaired ,cleaned, etc. Saitek X55 Hotas, Oculus Rift (up to date). All has been working fine and as expected up until about a month ago. I updated DCS world RELEASE version I have no other version on the computer. I have lost some of my HOTAS bindings in VR mode but not in monitor mode, I use the same HOTAS profiles in both. I really don't fly in monitor mode. Even using the Keyboard does not work in VR mode. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the HOSTAS and all is working as expected. Questions: Is Oculus home interfering with the HOTAS commands? My assumption is that after programming the HOTAS with the Saitek software. The Hotas just outputs key commands. No need for a DCS profile . I have tried deleting the *.diff.lua files in saved games, So I have tried to do everything I can think of. What is procedure to setup my X_55 HOTAS? WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? HOW DO I FIX THIS? Thanks for any help

I too tried to use the Rift touch but have put them in a drawer for now. Like Campbell said program some of the most use switches to your HOSTAS (gear and flaps, etc) and use the mouse for the rest. It takes a little practice to get use to the mouse. Good Luck:joystick:
