1. Do you have DCS-WAIFU installed with OvGME? If so, try it without OvGME. 2. Does DCS launch normally with DCS-WAIFU removed/uninstalled?

Whoa. That's not good. What are your system specs and where is DCS installed. Also, what made it crash? Did you click a button?

I was told in Discord that it is a known LOD issue.

I put in aircraft so that I could visualize, test the helipads, and look around. I wouldn't think that putting ~400 aircraft in the miz would be reasonable for the general populous. Plus 100 more for the next aircraft that comes out for DCS. I think that the method that you used previously was fine.

Navigate to C:/DcsInstallLocation/Mods/aircraft/YourAircraft/comm.lua. You can find stuff in that file to get an idea of what modules have what commands.

NDB is used more in the East, therefore km. VOR is used more in the West, therefore nm.

Added about 50 more helipad locations. Check the link in the first post. Huge thanks to @Grimes too! Don't stop looking though, there are more out there somewhere... Also, we need to name a few dozen helipads.

Hi there and thanks for the input. I'll try to answer these one at a time. -If you cannot or are not willing to change your Windows default language, I don't know a way around it. I'll put that on the "research" list. -If you have no kneeboard output, check your `C:\Users\PROFILENAME\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard` folder. The generated one should be in there. Do you have DCS installed in your Program Files folder? If so, the feature may not work due to windows permissions. You can try to get around it by launching DCS-WAIFU in admin mode. -Keybinds for applications while other applications take and reserve keybinds (DCS) sounds quite daunting to be honest. I'll put that on the "research" list too.

I just found about 14 more helipads. Google Doc has been updated. Looking forward to the miz in the future to get the altitudes of the other heliports, which is a new column on the doc.

Good news: shu77 found like 13 new helipads, which are now on the Google Doc in the first post. Bad news: It seems that helipad spawns are messed up with DCS 2.7. Feel free to chime in on the forum post if you experience the same thing.

I have tested 13 different hellipads. Of the 8 that I was able to place a "Start on ground" helicopter at, all 8 the spawns were inside of the helipad, on the ground/grass. I also tried a few aircraft with the same result. I believe that the patch note that states "Aircraft set to take-off from ground spawn on top of shelters - fixed." (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/openbeta/2.7.0.4625/) may be related. I have tried helipads that were in the game before DCS 2.7 as well as helipads that were added with DCS 2.7. Video and a track are attached. SpawnUnderHelipad.trk

Just a heads up, it looks like the A-6 is required for that miz.

For the person(people) maintaining a .miz, those two are listed as Adana Lark North and South in the google doc.

It was "right" when they did it in the ME. Times have sense changed. If you notice, the in-game ATC says it correctly.

I have a flatscreen 34inch ultrawide flanked by two 27inch monitors. It turns out that the pixel height is the same, which results in a matching vertical between the monitors. I personally avoid curved screens as I do enough video and photo editing for the curved features to get to my head. Straight lines on curved screens aren't really straight anymore. Anything less than a 34inch ultrawide and you start getting the mail-slot effect.

Yes, that one has been spotted and noted. Keep those eyes sharp, I feel like there are a few more out there that have not yet been discovered. And maybe a few more that are coming with the Syria map expansion!
