It seems that DCS currently likes a 2:3 ratio for kneeboards. 200x300 400x600 800x1200 --> I use this one 1200x1800 Here is what I have so far for my kneeboard file. I am looking forward to trying it out live. This is likely to get updated. It is quite awesome to see how others have visualized the commands. Feel free to mix and match my pic when designing. Welcome back! Glad to see ya. I have not changed the VA profile in quite a while. I re-downloaded it from the ED Userfiles and it looks like the commands are still there. Remember to go through the Readme again step by stem with your new setup. It may be possible that the keyboard.diff.lua failed to load up.

It applies to the OpenBeta AND Stable branches on Standalone. It does NOT apply to any Steam version.

A cool tip is that once you click a slider you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard for fine adjustments. Hmm, I have never tried integrating the two utilities. If I were to try what you said, I would edit the profiles Using CMS Editor, then install DiCE, then run dcs, then go to the options menu and make sure your CMS Editor changes are represented, then change 1 slider value, and then press OK. If you do that I'd be glad to hear the result. (remember to save the CMS Editor backup beforehand.) Thanks for the thanks! I know a few ppl who prefer the CMS Editor. As long as whatever utility you use gets the job done and gets you satisfied, I am satisfied

A PC restart isn't a bad idea. I have seen the buttons stick in the viewer, but it has never actually happened in-game or any other application, like SRS.

Ah, I see. I'll scrub thought the thread with a closer eye. By the way, thanks for the updated F-14B.lua. I just saw it and checked it out. Nice work. When you say that you used the tools provided, what exactly did you mean by that to get the IDs? I went into model viewer and got the switch numbers by using one of the views (control handle view I believe?) and the animation arguments by pure trial and error.

To test, load the Instant Action Takeoff Caucasus scenario. -Press Backspace -Press Navigation Steer Command TACAN or MAN -Move CRS and HDG knobs freely They work, but I have no clue what the DCS Interface values should be for accurate and sensible adjustments.

Ooooooh. I see what meant by that. I have changed my script to a 20 second timer and removed a few lines so that it now effectively looks like this. Previously it took a few tries to get the profile to fully load. Now it is working on first try. Fingers crossed that this works every time. You can make macros in VoiceAttack and assign that macro to a button on your hotas. So, in effect, it can be a hotkey.

But, to find a fix you'll have to give me a lot more information. A timeline of every single thing that happened from download, to install, to launch, to DCS version number, to locations of your saved games folder and dcs install, etc. Try out DiCE. It has been tested and reported as working for DCS 2.5.6 and DCS 2.7.

I think that’s going to be tough when DCS World is flat.

The very first things you'll want to do is to 1) Make sure the chat isnt open. This can be done by having VA press ENTER. 2) Have VA open chat by having it press the chat keybind, typically LSHIFT+TAB or LCTRL+TAB.

yes, this can be done via VoiceAttack. In the VoiceAttack Help pdf, look up "Dictation". Your setup will basically be something like: When HOTAS button XY is pressed, start Dictation. Stop dictation when the magic phrase is said (or cooler yet, a double tap of the same HOTAS button). Automatically read back dictation. Send dictation over game chat.
