  1. Didn’t mean to be provocative and I used the wrong words. I meant that I would file for a refund if I don’t hear anything soon. I have sent a few emails to them asking for a status on my order with no reply so I was focusing on PayPal as the mechanism. Apologies.
  2. Great point! Given that they have been promising to start shipping to the first pre-orders (I ordered in August) two weeks ago, time is almost up for me. If I don't get a shipping notice in the next few days, I'll likely file a Paypal dispute. While I've been excited about this product, it's only a game controller and I don't want to lose $1000.
  3. So, are the pre-orders shipping out next week? What carrier is being used? DHL? FedEx? Please do not ship via postal service as these are likely to get stuck in "Customs Hell".
  4. I'm getting an error in Solidworks stating that the OpenHornetSimPit.sldasm file is corrupt and cannot be opened. If I select the OpenHornetSimPit.sldasm file and try to see the dependencies, the same error is presented. Anyone else having this error or have some advice on how to fix? BTW, I'm using Solidworks 2018-2019
  5. WOW!!! What a contribution to this community. Thank you! Are there any guides that illustrate how to open category areas as complete components to begin some work. I'm not well versed in Github but after the download, it looks like there are well over a gig of files and it's hard to tell which ones are sub components (or dependencies) in order to get a full model open in something like Fusion 360. Thanks again!
  6. The constant moving of the goalpost is getting ridiculous. The product looks to be of high quality and they appear to be ready with an initial batch of HOTAS setups. Given that people paid $800 months ago with the promise of the pre-order period ending in Sept, they should start shipping the pre-orders. I don't understand what role the Youtube streamers play in those of us getting our orders shipped. Anyone have any context?
  7. I purchased the plans form Stang and they're fantastic!
  8. Hello...having trouble opening the link. Are there pictures posted elsewhere to see what the plans look like? Thanks, Derek
  9. Hard to believe that this thread started 18 months ago! It has been a source of inspiration and motivation. I for one, would love to tackle a new (from scratch) build based on a complete set of cockpit plans so please share updates on availability of the frame plans as soon as possible.
  10. Any updates on timeline for availability of the structure files?
  11. Any updates on progress or a potential target date for release of plans? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. This is great info! Any chance that the plans for the Tub frame can be shared so that we can get working on the basic cockpit frame construction while the other elements are being finalized?
  13. Hello, I’m looking for an answer to a simple question and hope one of you has this experience: I just finished setting up 3 projectors with a 270 degree curved screen for DCS (previously I was using 3 lcd monitors as my screen) and have completed the warping/blending config using Fly Elise. When Fly Elise is completed, it presents an option to export a variety of files that can be used with programs such as P3D, X-Plane and DCS. It’s my understanding that these files are required to be inserted into the respective program’s folder structure in order to properly display the game while Immersive Display Pro is warping the screen. My question is...where does this file get placed within the DCS folder structure and does it need to be selected within any of the options menus? I’m used to using software such as Helios where a new monitor file gets put into the \Config\MonitorSetup folder but this doesn’t seem to be the case for this Fly Elise export file (although I may be missing something). Would appreciate any experience others may have with this software combo (Fly Elise and DCS). Thanks! Derek
  14. Where are you suggesting that the brass inserts be used?
  15. Thanks RightStuff. Perseverance pays (but still don't know why it didn't initially work)! My Windows version of Cura 3.5.1 will not slice the file BUT...I tried loading Cura 3.5.1 on my MacBook Pro and tried out of desperation and IT WORKED. On my way to printing the UFC_Main with only 1d 3h to go.
  16. Ok everyone...as I stated before, I know this isn’t a forum about 3D printing so please forgive me but I consider this a point of personal failure. I have been trying for a few days to figure out how to get this model to be scaled/recognized in Cura 3.5.1 or Simplify3D 4.0 in order to print but I’ve run out of options. Both programs continue to state that the model can not be sliced because it doesn’t fit the build volume. I’m using an Ultimaker 3 so volume isn’t an issue for these parts. Additioanlly, the dimensions are correctly stated at 179mm x 142mm x 13mm (after scaling 10000%) If any of you have been successful in figuring this out, I would appreciate some guidance. Thanks, Derek
  17. Yes, correct. Visually, the model is within the bounding box but when I go to slice the model, it results in an error that says it’s unable to slice because the object is too big. In any event, this isn’t the forum for this issue so I’ll just reach out to Ultimaker for some assistance. Thanks anyway, Derek
  18. I'm having some trouble with getting the proper sizing in Cura (and Simplify 3D). Keep getting an error that the object doesn't fit the volume even though it states 179mm. Would appreciate any advice from those that have the workflow sorted. Thanks, Derek
  19. I donated as well. Thank you very much for your contributions to this community!
