its necessary. i don't want a fuel probe in my face all the time. it ruins the symmetry of them jet. and I dont A/A refuel that often anyways.

Is there a filter I can turn on that hides all posts with "SD-10" in them? Here i thought I was gna read a thread about flight model physics but no its another pointless SD10 cryfest. "Cryfest" they should give the SD10 that nickname.

For my two cents, you can buy three JF-17s for the price of 1 F-16 so technically you're carrying much more load for the same price. Even the US is looking for cheap aircraft swarms that can wreck face before adversaries knows what hit em.

Try saying JF-17 quickly without saying Jeff. if you can't then stop commenting on this useless thread. All the Pakistanis are too busy flying the jet rather than wasting time on forums crying about who talked smack about the jet. I suggest everyone here do the same. Try out the BRM-1s they're really nice. Imagine you're hitting Jeff haters every time you get a strike if it helps. block III is so new and classified that probably even the PAF doesn't know how it performs yet. We'll see it in DCS in about 20 years lol once block 5 starts rolling out or JF-18. XD

Also what is sound? do all humans hear it the same? for example is my color red the same as your color red? what if you see my 'green' and call it red? until these questions are answered deka shouldn't touch the sound XD

Yes there is. Time frame is not sure but it won't be this year probably unless ED and Deka don't take holidays. I don't mind since the time can be spent learning about what's already in the jet.

If you're satisfied with eyeballing it then that's up to you. I find the visual damage to be inconsistent and unclear. Sometimes you can ram your plane onto the runway and have it bounce up, tail strike and also deploy your wheel brake too early and there is no noticeable change to your plane. On the other hand sometimes the plane flies just fine with both wings off. Other times there's one wing left but there is no overwhelming roll effect. But in this case I'm more interested in some harder to spot things anyways. Such as how much stress was the airframe put in especially the Jeff with its accumulation after high g maneuvers and over speeding and how much is repaired. And the engine. No clue what it went through during the flight. How much is it in need of maintenance now. Did my bad startup/shutdown/airstart procedure cause it any harm? For example I mess up the mi8 procedures all the time. Would be nice to see some digits/curves/mappings in this regard.

What game has damage modeling like dcs?

I guess structural damage and UI tools are the domain of ED. What I had in mind was like a damage heat map painted over the 3d model of the plane.

Should this have been added when as far as I know no other module simulates this and it just nerfs the jeff's dogfighting/dodging/rejoin. Don't get me wrong, I would love this if it came to all modules and there was an interface which showed how badly you damaged the airframe so you can learn to fly better.
