  1. Do you need more than one of these "ATCs" at any given time?
  2. Okay, I may be releasing a version to test that reduces the refresh rate. Stay tuned.
  3. This is unfortunate. The plugin sends updates to other clients regularly as part of the peer to peer model of how TARS operates. Apparently these updates, given their frequency, are being considered spam by the server. I can try reducing their frequency, but it will provide less fidelity when you move around. As far as a "TARS standalone" thing, that would necessitate creating an entirely new application that "pretends" to be a DCS client. I don't think you're going to be seeing that anytime in the near future, given that my schedule is extremely limited these days and terrain is still the priority.
  4. This is being looked into. There will not be an instant fix until I find out what's causing it.
  5. Does this thread remind you of that one episode of the Simpsons where he buys his wife a bowling ball that happens to be drilled for his hand?
  6. The altimeter gauge measures barometric altitude, just like any altimeter. The only difference is that it has a selectable source. Normal operation would mean getting its source from the CADC. You can use the EGI to deconflict pressure altitude from true altitude MSL.
  7. It needs write access to the Teamspeak 3 directory. Try running it as admin.
  8. Are you still selling this?
  9. I am going to look into this after the terrain issue is dealt with.
  10. Unless there is an identifiable issue tied to the current release of TS3 and it isn't user error, there will not be a new update in response to the latest TS3 update.
  11. What can I possibly do with that? Specifics.
  12. It takes a few days at a minimum for me to respond to TS updates. Preliminary indication is that it works with the latest TS3, from what people have been telling me. Feel free to try it out yourself.
  13. It should be trivial to grep out whitespace, comments, and anything that the interpreter would ignore if that's what you're suggesting. A compiler does that anyway, during the preprocessing phase.
  14. TS Server should have nothing to do with it. See what happens when you try using them as push-to-talk buttons. Does it fail then?
  15. Right now I think the issue is the key being pulsed or not held down long enough. 1/4th of a second should be sufficient. For obvious reasons, this won't manifest in push to talk. I can increase the polling interval for the responsible thread if it ends up being an issue for enough people.
  16. In previous pages you mention using a single push to talk. How long are you depressing the other radio buttons to switch radios?
  17. Send your logs, preferably more than one of you.
  18. Are you doing this in A-10 or Black Shark?
  19. Disablez: Weird, are you using TARGET or just the straight warthog? If you are having an in-game issue, it has nothing to do with the Control Panel. The Control Panel doesn't even use the same DX interface. It's an entirely different application.
  20. The issue of the POV is something I'm aware of and am working to resolve.
  21. I think you may have the wrong impression of what TARS is for. Please read the manual included with the mod, also available on the TARS website.
  22. TARS is free. But, I accept donations. So far a singificant percentage of people who use it have not donated. Which is expected; I am not using these donations to feed myself (although they did in fact get put toward additional hardware to perform unit testing with, which was nice). If TARS ever does get turned into payware it will be under the following circumstances: 1) I am forced to out of necessity and 2) People who donated would have the amount that they donated used as credit.
  23. Should be able to get it into the next version.
  24. Turk: Thank you for your support, it is much appreciated. I'm considering blanking out the additional channels; as there is very little reason to need surround sound in a simulation of a speaking environment that doesn't feature surround sound to begin with.
  25. Obviously.
