  1. I just finished "On the other side" but with a 50% so I'll need to do it again just to kill a couple of soft targets. Is there any way to just "go" to the next mission?? I don't want to spend hours repeating the same mission, I don't have so much time... Regards Aser
  2. I attach a doc about VRS. :book: Regards Aser VRS.pdf
  3. Hi Buznee, A rotor is fully articulated by hinges or elastomerics, it doesn't matter. fully is a 412 or uh60 or Ka50 but not a Bo105 that is really rigid without dampers or hinges. Regards Aser
  4. Is that picture the work in progress for AH64A ???
  5. Happy new year!!!! Thanks to DCS! Regards Aser
  6. Airtito can you confirm if the real Ka50 have a locking pin lever/switch for the nose wheel? because is really strange and dangerous if not. Regards Aser
  7. I was thinking the same about VRS, too easy, I didn't look at the numbers but in any real aircraft you need to be in a descent near the air downwash speed and below translational speed to enter fully developed vrs. The magical number of less than 300'/min. used worldwide in the schools is just too far in the safe side, another myth like LTE, usually overpitching (no enough power to hover) is confused as VRS. I'd would like to see the numbers if anyone can provide. Also a performance section in the manual would be nice even just a scan from the real manual. Anyway BS is like nothing before as helicopter simulators. Regards Aser
  8. Were the hands and feet of the instructor off the controls??? If yes, that'ss true amazing! After playing a little bit in BS I think I could start it and fly it, but I'm sure as hell I'll die if anything goes wrong in that flight... so I wouldn't try it for real without the type rating course. Regards Aser
  9. Can I get the name of those pedals?? :joystick: I want to add that in another helicopters below 60knots AP will work in heading hold and above it will keep the ball centered. I assume not in kamovs... Another cool feature in the 139 is that we have got a pressure switches in the pedals , and: one force trim on/off switch (the same in the 109 and 412). and another Collective/Yaw force trim on/off. I think it would be great to have those switches (yes I know it isn't real in the Ka50). Regards Aser
  10. Ok Vortex, tell me you are flying a 206... :smilewink: LTE is just an excuse for tail rotor too small, with 10-30knots I'm more than happy in the 412 or 139. It's true that you need to keep an eye on the tq when using pedals but that's all. Another thing is when you get yourself turning around in a 206 without using all the power and your foot is on the floor, that is just a bad tail rotor design. LTE is a myth. Regards Aser
  11. In fact you need to have a bad damper/strut/tire/etc to get into GR, helicopters needs to demonstrate they are GR free in good conditions. Regards Aser
  12. Amen! :joystick:
  13. Hi, I want to buy something to control the DCS, Can you list me the preferred options? I imagine there is no HOTAS with FFB (to maintain the trimmed position) ?? HOTAS? X-52 Cougar FFB Joysticks? Saitek EVO MS sidewinder Pedals?? ... I'm just using a logitech extreme 3d with twisting grip but it isn't enough. Thanks Regards Aser
  14. I was expecting the rotors strike at any moment.. hehehe. Not very sane to do the rambo with the Ka-50, two rotors too close, you have to be very careful with pitch+speed+maneuvering. edit to add: you were doing good until you lost one engine=> rotor rpm drop=> more flapping in the backward blade=>rotor strike. Regards Aser
  15. Thanks to all for the replies, AphaOneSix: I understand what you have said but It'd be great to have a trim off switch like in western helicopters. (just a key to sithc it on off would help people without hotas+pedals etc.) My problem is that I don't have pedal or HOTAS , and my ruder twisting joistick is not very good. In real life is a lot easier to fly a helicopter with trim on because the stick maintain the position, also the pedals, here the big problem is the joistick recenters itself :joystick: so I don't "feel" where are the controls.. :noexpression: Anyway, for the first time we have "REAL" helicopter simulator! I even can't imagine the potential for this sim! :pilotfly: Best regards Aser
  16. Force Trim Hi! First post. I've been reading the forum but I can't find the answer... Is it possible to switch to OFF the TRIM ? I'd like to have the option to switch it off, like in the Bell 412, A109 and AW139 I fly in real life. In real life is only mandatory to use the trim in IFR flights. With my logitech is a pain in the ass to fly with trim on. Best regards Aser
