how big is the framerate-hit when setting textures to High ? I'm having serious trouble keeping things up to speed with my good ol'AMD3200+.... think it's time to spend some money, right ?

Same here. FSSB great for Falcon but Black Shark (and Lockon) there is so much unstability the tactile feedback of a moving stick is probably a lot better.That way you at least know your input should be okay..than let the aircraft do it's thing. With FSSB there is more tendency to fight it resulting in PIO (Pilot induced oscillation :-). Slightly off-topic: when I was in school for civil flying I heard about aircraft being mathematically systems of the 8th order or something. Put in a elevator-input, keep it steady, the pitch will have some oscillation, dampened though. Contrary to theory, during flight (again civil -small props, aerobatics, small jet, large jet) I've never ever had that feeling whatsoever. Lockon and also Black Shark seem to have that math right there. I can't fly Lockon really due to that oscillation. And Black Shark in Realistic mode .. I can't hit anything with unguided stuff either... -
So I can make turns now. AP-Heading on, turning with trimming... But hitting something with unguided missiles or wingmounted unguided guns .. That's still way beyond me. Is that realistic helicopter-unstability ? Looked at Youtube's HUD-video of the KA50 but that looked a bit more stable to me. Might be Cougar with FCC mod that makes it harder though. No tactile feedback really.

Auto Turn to Target not working (solved!)

must be doing things wrong with the switches. All Autopilot switches on or Heading off, but pressing AutoTurnOnTarget(Q) won't do the trick yet. (tried in quick action, so switches all set). What would be needed to have it working ? What needs to be set ? It's not the trim. It's neutral, hovering, whatever...tried it all. ah wait..it is easy flight ?? -
Could not find in the manual why I would put the Governor to LOW. Either I'm getting dyslectic :doh: or it's not there. Anyone has a clue what that mode is used for ?

Pic does not change after un-pauze. Yeah, the screenshot shows the camera on the big screen, while the garbled stuff is on the right. I know it's a funny setup. Just hoped it would work.

Too bad, tried with your settings but scrambled image on Shkval. Dualview: As you can see, no.2 is the Primary monitor but needs to be called '2' to avoid some kind of strange 1604-resolution instead of 1600.... searching on... (yep, tried all kinds of settings to avoid distortion on images due refreshrates etc)

Thanks for the quick reply. I'll try it tomorrow. 1600x1200 on the right, primary monitor off course but "no.2" 1024x768 on the left. Secondary monitor but "no1". The no1/2 is to avoid some driverbug that makes the display run on 1604x1200. Anyway, with Dualview off course I can put the display left or right. I'm not Stretching but extending the monitor. Results tomorrow. (thought I'd tried your values but not sure anymore)

Keeps a mystery to me. due to some bug, got a no 2 screen as Primary 1600x1200 no 1 screen as Secondary (1024 x 768 ) Whatever I do, can't get Camera on 1600x1200 and Skval on 1024x768. Options.Lua : width up to 2000 works, and I see a bit of BS on the Secondary screen but larger widths give distored image. What should be in options.lua and what should be in Shkval+camera.lua ? been trying for hours and hours....

Anyone has a table to get sliders to work ? Cougar here, got the RNG-slider working (joy_slider1 on CougarControlPanel axis 3) but where to find the Ant Elev is a mistery to me. (CCP axis 4)

for me it worked to update the TIR-driver to the latest version. I was running 4.18 or something and it updated correctly. BlackShark was mentioned in the list and went bold-print as it recognized the program was running; however BlackShark did not work with it. Updated to the current driver (see website of Naturalpoint) and right away TIR was working. Hope it helps.

no crashlog created with XP... (see other posts) There is however a DrWatson report... anyone can read that ? (see post 4 in http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=35298 )

XP here, sp3. Resized the screen, no report of missing file. put the file in windows-system32 folder (no wow64 in xp) No change. Still crash. Lucky guys who get it to work !! :doh:

reported the same problem, but running XP. DrWatson is a program that gives debug-information. Does Vista have that too ? If so, crash-information might be retrieved from there. I'm sure DCS needs information about the crash to be able to solve it.

joining a Multiplayer game works ! Saw somebody else fly. However, I cannot un-pause my own game and Single Player game still not working. -

Rougly same, but no music or whatsoever. Multiplayer gives UI but singleplayer does nothing but initial-start (edge of a new window shows) than crashes. No crashlogs, no error message. Deleted FFDSHOW, tried re-sizing screen resolution, rebooted. Nothing seems to work.
