  1. No problem to run 4k 60fps on a big screen with hdmi 2.0, which most newer TVs have. I have a 34" 1440p 100hz monitor and choose to play dcs on my 55" 4k tv. Looks beautiful and I can spot so much better. You do have to get the right tv with good motion handling and low input lag. I went with the one highly recommended by rtings.com . The Vizio p series. 2. Zoomer, My post addressed exactly what you just said. I have tried it, and I'm knocking it. Your continued lack of attention will only keep this conversation on a circular path. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  3. It seems from a few comments that some believe that people don't prefer vr only because they haven't tried it. I have the vive, rift, and odyssey. I still much prefer playing on my 4k 55" (low latency) TV with trackir. The clarity in 2d 4k resolution overcomes the immersion in vr. And the fact that the clarity is lacking in vr (with the above named headsets) directly affects the quality of the immersion. I'm looking forward though to trying a pimax 5k+ when I can get my hands on one. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

  5. Please tell me it isn't so! This can't be normal behavior. We no longer have the option to keep radar and ew on the top mfds during engagements?
  6. I was hoping this was going to be fixed in the latest patch, but it wasn't so I'll report it now. I'll have the left mfcd set to radar, but if I choose A/A or A/G mode, it changes that mfcd to the stores page. HOpe this will be fixed soon.

  8. Maybe for you since it's quick and runs out of gas in no time :) Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  9. I definitely agree with others that you can learn things quite quickly flying with others in multiplayer. However, I also recommend a certain level of private study and obtaining a certain level of proficiency before multiplayer. Multiplayer is not the best place to learn from the ground up, but can be a great resource for questions, practice, fine tuning, and discovery. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  10. I never could get the hat clip to work well. The IR works a lot better. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  11. Are you using a hat clip or IR? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

  16. If you want to know tanker speed in game, it's as simple as locking him up on radar or f10 and clicking on his icon Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  17. Same error. The page is defunct. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  18. My rankings This was tough.. I chose Datalink.. But here's my priority list: 1. Datalink 2. Guided Bombs / Air to Surface Radar 3. A/A Radar TWS 4. JHMCS 5. SLAM 6. Harpoon 7. HARM 8. ATFLIR 9. ACLS
  19. I use voice attack for F1 - F12 . it allows me to communicate with NPC chat hands free. Ex: I speak "F one" to press F1, etc. The button I press for voice attack is on my hotas of course. I also set that same button to mute discord and ts while active. Using voice attack this way also allows me access to external views and map hands free. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  20. If you want tanker speed, why not just lock him up on your radar? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  21. Great video (old, but instructive) describing in great detail the meatball. https://youtu.be/7C08dr2oQug Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    ATC

I've used ATC successfully for refuelling. I put the tanker on my radar to get his speed. When I closed in I set ATC 1 NM faster to creep up. Got me into the basket but had to release ATC after connect to keep correct and that gets a little difficult because the throttle adjustment at disconnect is not always a smooth one. I find it easier (and quicker) to just do manually. At first I was struggling and thought ATC would provide the needed magic, not so. Just practice and it will come. I'm still pretty new at it, and can tell you as a newbie, that manual throttle is the way to go. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
