  1. Just like to bring us back on topic a bit ( but I was chuckling when I read about all the ghetto track ir mods because mine is held together with gaffer tape and super glue ! ) Has any one with track ir ( or other wise ) managed to bind the flexible site or door gunner site to a hat switch ?
  2. Thanks for replies guys. I'm using precision track ir mode these days, getting used to it. Would be good to seperate gunner control from the view axis though or a check box option somewhere
  3. All sorted thanks to my Squad mate 159th_Viper. Thanks for your input anyhow, was very quick!
  4. Was pointed here http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=94531 Think this is the solution
  5. Hay Sobek I have NOT run out of activations on any modules. Happy to reactivate on my new hardware configuration ( new hardware code ) but don't know I can. Automatic Activation is Denied by server due to Invalid Hardware Code The starforce webpage gives me a similar error Deactivation is not possible due to "No license for deactivation is found" Ps thanks for quick replies
  6. Hi all I changed my hardware while DCS was installed. Now months later I am trying to do a fresh clean install but can't activate or deactivate my products as my hardware code is no longer valid. Any ideas ? I think I need to deactivate all my modules and then reactivate them with a new hardware code but I can't deactivate without the old HW code.
  7. Tried that, read OP Has anyone with Track IR managed to get the Flexible scope slew keys working ?
  8. Just tested, Afraid that just disables the mouse input but it still can't use the ,/;. keys to slew the sight.
  9. Hi Loving the sim so far BTW, a few more hours of hover practice and I'll have it ;-) Anyway, When using the copilot flexi sight, how can I unbind the trackIR control over it ? I want to use the ,/;. keys on my stick hat but can't get them to override track IR or mouse control :helpsmilie: My Solution so far To bind a button to pause Track IR To switch ctl C for mouse control Use mouse to murder and pillage. This is cool but, I'd like to try it with the hat switch, might be more stable.
  10. A little like the Ka-50, once you get it trimmed ( I am using no rudder and standard trim options for the uh-1 ) it becomes a bit more stable and requires less aggressive inputs. You can trimm for takeoff beforehand useong the control indicator.
  11. Bump for english translation. Seen this in youtube before and desperate to have it in eng.
  12. Thanks Peter I think I have one more slider not used on my X52. So I'm releasing the brake when I change rotor pitch then gradually re-apply the brake to settle the Alt hold AP channel to the new altitude ?
  13. Sorry for copying this from another thread but I can't be assed to try and re-word it and I want to get your opinions : I find the central method the best way ( for me ) to avoid trimmer bumps. One behavior I have noticed that control inputs made under a trim that is far from the centre of the red control indicator box are much more sensitive. Also the input seem to snap out of trimmed flight more violently. I believe this is due to the input axis curves being applied using the in game input values ( the red box )to judge centre rather than the actual joystick position. This means that as I speed up and need to apply more trim to keep strait and level flight, my control inputs seem to be interpreted using the sensitivity values further towards the edge of the axis tune settings. I have had this suspicion for a long time, does this seem correct to anyone else or is the increased input sensitivity due to aerodynamic effects? This could also be an example of this instead

  15. I've not had any problems sending targets in MP so it might just be an AI issue. As far as problems go, allways remember you have to save a target, reset your targeting systems, then send.
  16. I realise that this is 2010 news but still kinda cool. Savings for efficiency and stealth, I wonder what state the project is in now.
  17. Appears to, but then the whole article would be a lie or exaggeration. Maybe they are backups or something. Has a conventional control mode.
  18. Thought you guys might be interested in this, cool innovation but I'd love some more detail. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/defence/8033224/Footage-released-of-plane-that-manoeuvres-without-flaps.html
  19. Ah Yea sorry I got confused with aiming pipper ( that what it called ? ) and CCIP
  20. just reset your weapon systems and without turning on your shkval, select rockets. You can do the same with cannon.
  21. That over trim thing is well known and a cause of many trim threads I think. My personal opinion is that its todo with trimming inputs that are curved, I wonder it still over trims if you have strait axis curves in axis tune.
