Just to check, Trigger will dispense any forward firing weapons- rockets, missiles, guns You need to have stores release bound for dropping any bombs or anything that uses gravity. Also, on the weapon selector where you cycle between missiles and guns this needs to be in the OFF position. This will then automatically send power to the stores, wait a few seconds then select AG switch for the HUD, use jester for selecting bombs and fuzing settings. Then you should be good to go!

I think when in flight in TWS mode and item will flash when "locked"

I see so you mean to allow an off boresight launch after acquiring lock in boresight? Not seen this myself yet, I assume you have already tried cage/seam button after acquiring boresight lock? Maybe it hasn't been implemented yet is another option.

Hey Dan, On the Open beta release at least, the training missions for me show under "training" from the main menu, not missions or quick start.

That CAG livery, will no doubt be released along with the A variant. As they mainly used them.

Fooling around on a Coop mission

Thank you, even after watching some videos on this was still confused. Until cleared up I had missed the blithering obvious, mistaking TDC depress for Sensor depress. How is it the link with an AWACS is to function? As I have a mission setup with AWACS in it, I can communicate with him and get a picture, but nothing changes on the SA. Yet, in WAG's video he had it setup so if radar was silenced, it would update and identify targets. I can't seem to replicate this, does some extra steps need to be taken in ME for this?

My first module - apart from having the old A10C edition, was the Mirage. Always liked it and it is a very capable jet, flies extremely easy. And not a hugely difficult platform to master, but older technology than the hornet. I then bought the hornet as soon as it was released, simply for the love of the design and more modern fighter. I still love the M2K now if I'm struggling in the hornet a little I'll jump to the mirage. If Razbam do indeed get onto a M2k-5 further down the line - well big smiles all round!

Me and a friend play a private mission which has a mix of SAM's and AA targets. I tend to have a burst of both 4 - 6 with an interval of 0.25 Secs. As said by others add in some manoeuvres and it greatly increases chance of survival. Watching a video of Youtube user "Pickinthatbanjo", he gives good tutorials and analysis using Tacview and game footage. I learned from him, having short bursts and releasing CM's when changing aspect is best way to fool missiles - generally speaking.

The F18 is formidable in any environment. It's a great module to start with, very forgiving and easy to fly - systems are a bit of a learning curve, yet progression is straight forward. I Fly it regularly on Nevada and it's perfectly suited for there, as quite a few F18's usually from Mirramar. Actually fly through part of the Nevada map in real life (Star Wars Canyon - Although mostly it's Super hornet's that traverse there). Unfortunately, it's not really been modeled in DCS - Plenty of great videos on you tube of the real place though. And indeed, a Mudhen is in the works by Razbam, try searching their sub forum thread, there should be a progress thread on there. Also, if you haven't seen, the F-16C shall also, be released in near future.

Think I experienced this too, NWS/Undesignate, wasn't breaking radar lock. Only Way I could was TDC Depress.
