Adamastor started following F10 Radio menu with Submenus , AI ground units not engaging after my aircraft is damaged , FAQ and 1 other
-
I've done a small mission just for fun and the idea is to depass as many bad guys as possible. it worked fine for some time, now what is happening is that once my aircraft is damaged the ground units stop engaging me. The idea here is to go as far as possible even if I only have one engine or other kind of damage. Yes I'm in a A-10 The ground units are from Cobra to Strela, Zu's, shilkas, manpads in between and are all set to Red alert and weapon free. Thanks

Well explained. In fact I changed my DCS main folder to other HD by drag and drop (was the way I saw after some ... not much ... research) Strange is that before I update DCS it was working fine. I will follow your suggestion. Thanks a lot.

Sorry if I'm repeating a question, but since last DCS update the \ menu show up every 5 seconds. I did some research but no joy. I erased Export.LUA both from saved games and main folder. Did a clean and repair in DCS If disable plugin support in Voice Attack setting, it stops bringing the menu as described above. And I cant find the ""Remedy Table"" Can someone help with this issue? Thanks

Can the Hog carry up to 6 AGM-65's ??
Adamastor replied to Adamastor's topic in DCS: A-10C Warthog Tutorials
Thanks. In fact that's the answer I got from a RL A-10 pilot, I post it below, he was a real gentleman: The A-10 can carry six AGM-65, but in practice will usually max out at four. The inboard station of the LAU-88 is close to the A-10 main gear nacelle. The exhaust from the inboard Maverick will scorch the main gear nacelle, the tire and the enpenage. The additional drag and weight of an additional two AGM-65 also adversely effects the A-10 performance. The most common loadout is a single Maverick loaded on a LAU-117A on stations 3 and 9. Drag seem also to be a major concern. -
I always assumed that the A-10 can only bring up to 4 Mavericks. Then I saw this post on the USAF website. https://www.af.mil/About-Us/Fact-Sheets/Display/Article/104577/agm-65-maverick/ Does anyone know if the A-10 can actually bring 6 in RL, am I understanding correctly?

JTAC CAS Procedure Youtube videos.
Adamastor replied to RIFLE_JTAC_TRAINING's topic in General Tutorials
Thanks for this post and videos, I'm learning a lot with them and look further to learn more. -
Thanks for the answer. Where in LUA must I put the script? (line nr or in wich section) I did a few trials, but no joy.

Hi to all. I’m doing my 1st steps on scripting. I already used MIST and CTLD and respawn units. Now I’m trying to so a F10 Radio menu with Submenus. The idea is to open and close units in a target range but is more than 10 target ranges, so, I must separate in groups: F.1 - TR 1 / 2 / 3 F.2 - TR 4 / 5 / 6 F.3 - TR 7 / 8 / 9 F.4 - TR 10/ 11 / 12 What I would like to see if F.1 - TR 1 / 2 / 3 is selected: F.1 - TR 1 F.2 - TR 2 F.2 - TR 3 Then, after (ex) F.1 - TR 1 is selected menu disappear from screen and activate the units on that Target Range Then, if F10 menu is selected again I would like to have: F.1 - TR 1 / 2 / 3 F.2 - TR 4 / 5 / 6 F.3 - TR 7 / 8 / 9 F.4 - TR 10/ 11 / 12 F5. Close TR 1 And if F.5 is selected it “”kills”” all those units in TR 1 and if is selected again the respawn script do the job. I found the addsubmenu script that may do what I need, but have no idea where to put it in ME or if it goes to the actual LUA file from mission (or both) Thanks.

[MISSING TRACK FILE] Loss Of Engine And Avionics While Maneuvering
Adamastor replied to Emmy's topic in Bugs and Problems
Same here. This time I was sure I wasn't in negative G in a 35/45° dive, roll, and only 1 engine shut down. I agree with @Yurgon hi speed and throttle combination has some effect in this situation and also like @Emmysays, much more frequent now since last update. -
I saw the F117 "dance" from the cockpit ... is so cool I will let them stay for entretaining purposes Well, I always do cold start .... I like the sound from the APU .... I wonder if ..... Any way, thanks a lot for all your interest and help. Like I say above. Have learned something new with this situation, I always roll inverted now and understand a bit more about A10 procedures in flight. Cheers

Thanks. I can send you the Tackview file if it help's. Honestly, I'm temped to believe it was something wrong I did. When I realise I was almost depassing the target I pulled hard the stick and had that feeling ... "I shouln't be doing this" ... Just had a look again in Tackview, and realise that in the beginning of the dive I was in negative G's for a few seconds (around 5).
-
Gentleman, thanks a lot for your thoughts. I see here some good experienced pilots. I go for the negative G's probability. Yesterday I tried to replicate the situation over, and over, and no joy, my A10 was still strong as a Hog and no engine shut down. As I say above, I could restart them, but as consequence of the dive i was low and surrounded by mountains, so I had to eject. I thing I got in Tackview the exact moment the engines shut down, and in telemetry it says -0 G ... in movement is compreensible I did some wing shake (was my 1st reaction). Also noted the angle wasn't that sharp after all. I confess i'm not a expert interpreting telemetry, so, if someone see something that expain the issue, please step forward. Thank you
