  1. @BIGNEWY Dear ED Team! As mentioned above from Migow. We also do have huge performance issues with our dedicated servers. FYI, with almost 30 active pilots we´re one of the biggest squadrons in germany. Right now we do run one of the biggest, avaible for everyone, dynamic missions for the CW Germany Map. The map shows a dynamic training range, medic/rescue missions for helos, taskings on critical infrastructure which affects the opponents weaponry e.g. destroying a factory forces enemy fighters to have only fox2s and so on. The map is built around the f4 phantom and takes place in that era of time. Since the update .10523 we are dealing with huge problems. High CPU temperatures on the client side and bad performance on the server side. The last update .10973 did not change anything. The high temperature problem still persists. It differs everytime you restart DCS. CW Germany has been released with .9408 and it was running butterly smooth up to .10523 Please help us. We do not know where start here. What did you change? The head of MOOSE is also part of our team. You are very welcome to our discord and your help is much appreciated to get things forward.
  2. Its not just a temperature thing. Even our dedicated server is affected by this issue. I cannot monitor temps on the servers CPU, but what we have is unplayable missions on the CW Germany map. Prior to .10523 everything was butterly smooth. Now it became unplayable. Interestingly our Caucasus and Nevada based missions are still running on the servers side. On the client side we see troughout alle maps higher CPU temps.
  3. @BIGNEWY When can we expect a hotfix? Edit: I tested again today on the CW Germany Map. Hitting 85 degrees CPU Temp when entering the F4 on the ground. Under .9599 temperature was never going beyond 66 degrees. I’am cooling the 9800X3D with a NZXT Kraken V2 Elite 360mm. Our squadrons dedicated server shows the biggest issue here. We are struggling with pretty intense desyncs since .10523. Our main public mission is no longer playable.
  4. 9800X3D with 360mm AIO. Since .10523 increased temperature by at least 10°. Its not just on the client side i guess. Even our dedicated server shows increased CPU load.

  9. Hello Salival! You seem to have some Symbols for the F4E. Can you share the symbols without the profile? I guess this would be much appreciated. I´am using the streamdecks with the DCSFP software for data export. There´s everything custom made. I could really make use of your great symbols. greets
  10. @Surrexen Are you talking about the Map itself or DCS? i‘am assuming you‘re referring to DCS when you say „too many bugs“
  11. @Surrexen Hey m8, me and all the pilots in our squadron are really enjoying your dynamic missions in PG, Caucasus and Syria. We‘ve been flying these missions in rotation. Starting with the first conflict in PG and working up trough caucasus. We added different weather settings, custom kneeboards and did some adjustments for our squadron. We even had a cold war version of one of your missions. Now i‘am asking you if there is going to be a similar mission for the new Sinai Map?
  12. Regarding Phoenix and flying BVR engagements i´ve been wondering for the past 2 years and asking myself -> WHY DO WE HAVE A DATALINK WHICH IS LIMITED TO SHOW A MAX AMOUNT OF 8 CONTACTS? During Mike "Nasty" Manazir´s Q&A Session done by "Aircrew Interview" on Youtube i had the opportunity to ask Mike directly. He just answered that this limitation is just a DCS thing. Anyone here wo knows more about this? Maybe i can direct my question right to the developers of HB.
  13. Hey fellers, did already some testing with the CAT. The turn performance has been slighty increased. At 10000ft with around 8-9000 pounds of gas i was able to get an average turn rate of around 17 degree. it feels again more stable at high AoA and the wing rock has been drastically reduced. Low Speed High AoA fighting is possible again. Now you can fly the F14 more aggressive again. I‘am very happy with it. Also did some tests with the AoA Buffet Schedule on/off. There is a difference, but not that much if you ask me. Did also tests with Roll SAS off/on. In my opinion the aircrafts behavior feels great. I also tried some accelerations. Loadout 4-2-2 with 2 Ext Tanks. 17000 pounds of gas at 35000MSL @ M .85 She was hardly accelerating and was not able to reach M 1.2
  14. Anyone got an idea what POD the F4E is carrying on the picture above? The only Pod i know is the AN/AVQ-26 „Pave Tack“. This one on the picture looks totally different to the Pave Tack Pod.
  15. What will happen to the future FM of the F14B? What we did during dogfighting was to disable roll SAS, and use the advantage of full flaps and high AOA at low speeds. Right at the moment the heavy wing rocking makes it almost impossible to place your gun pipper properly. Is this behaviour going to stay?
  16. I´am experiencing weird missile behavior at the moment. The Tacview attached showing a F14B with AIM7MH an PH54MK60A in an engagement with a human rio against a MIG 23 in a nose hot engagement. I´am sorting what we did: - Fired a Phoenix on 29k feet @ 28nm range to the bandit in PD STT We did keep up the Vc as high as possible. The bandit was going defensive until the missile was under 10nm range (like it was pitbull). Totally stupid. Missile lost obviously guidance even under constant PD STT lock. Lock was steady on the AWG9. - Launched a AIM7MH at 11nm in PD STT due to high Vc. Missile lofted, kept bandit defensive and was gone - Launched FOX2 (caged with SEAM) @ 4,8nm range Vc ~550kts. Missile steered without any reason away into the trees F14 vs. MIG23 FAIL.zip.acmi Tacview is attached. Thats just one single Tacview. I can deliver more if you want to. Fact is that you right at the moment have to spend 3-4 missile to get even the easiest bandit down. Maybe you´re ending up in a merge. It has become impossible with the CAT to fight in BVR. Yeah, you can go for a launch and leave tactic. Missile will be evaded by a 100%. Then you recommit, launch again and the same will happen again. Its a game of "who´s running first out of gas". BVR in the CAT is not possible at the moment if you ask me.
  17. I played a little with my GFX Card settings. In DCS i´am definetely CPU bound. I have to say that i have a very good performance overall. I run on most servers 80-100fps when airborne. I noticed that a full deck template on the super carrier is a 100% CPU demanding. There´s is this instant mission "full carrier template". When i start on the deck i´am at 38fps. Do i look away from all the static objects the fps is rising up to 70. In all the newer games i dont have any problems. So it seems an upgrade to a 5600x would be not a bad choice. Interesting fact is, that the 2700x and the 5600x does have the same clock speed of 3.7GHZ. Only the boost clock on the 5600x can go up to 4.7GHZ. I´am going to check if my MSI X470 Gaming Plus Mobo is able to run the 5600x. As far as i know AMD covered the support for all x470 mobo´s. I think i´am considering an update to a newer CPU.
  18. Ok, then i am limited on the CPU side obviously. Mhhhm, would be interesting if its worth upgrading the 2700x. I think a CPU with a better single core performance could perform better. I am also thinking about about getting a widescreen 1440p monitor. My card can handle it.
  19. I think i should get more FPS when i turn MSAA off. I have around 80-110 fps in the air in a singe player mission with 4x MSAA. Multiplayer is server depending. On the supercarrier mostly around 50-60. If the deck is full with templates it drops to 40. Multiplayer in the Air about 70-90 fps. It doesnt make sense having always the same FPS no matter what i set in MSAA. This usually does affect fps in every game?! btw, what forgot mentioning. I am running DCS @2560x1440p.
  20. Hello you all, i‘ve upgraded my gfx card from an RX580 8GB to a Nitro+ 6800XT. Full specs as following: -x470 msi gaming Plus -2700x @3,9GHZ -32GB 3000MHR DDR4 -sapphire nitro+ 6800XT As you can imagine the new card makes a huge Performance boost compared to the old one. i have a very interesting behaviour regarding MSAA in dcs. I can set it to Off, 2x or either 4X MSAA. it doesn‘t matter if i set MSAA off, 2x or either to 4x i am getting always the exact fps. MSAA does work and the image looks just great on 4x, but i would prefer to lower to 2x to have more fps. In the Adrenalin Radeon Tools is everything off, so It should not affect DCS in any term. Does anyone have an idea why I get always the same fps no matter how MSAA is set up?
