Fly a lot!. Make a lot of touch and go. Fly your downwind leg in landing config with landing gear and flap down. The idea is to get used to fly in landing configuration, find out your power setting and flying attitude in order to get a level flight condition. There is no magic instrument, just practice. Once on final, reduce your power and use speedbrak as needed. Do not cut power until 10 feet above the runway, becuase you need a fast response if you have to go round. Speedbrake is good for that. I fly with FBB, so I can feel my plane a little more. After using FBB joystick, my approach and touch down have improved a lot. Salute Gavilan

Hi Micha Finally a got it running... parttialy because I have limited time for this. Radar and RWR are for my second fase but, I have noticed that exported instrument refresh had some refresh lag and the increment and movement is quite discrete. I have tested in the same machine and over lan. Is it possible to improve its refresh rate in order to see a more soft movement o gauges and reduce the lag between DCS instrument and Ikarus? Hi all. Does anybody figured out good visual references for line of sight whitin cockpit? It is very difficult to identify the right place/moment to initiate a dive in the required angle for a bombing or rocket run. Thanks! Salute Gavilan

Hi Micha I solved my issue. Ikarus is working now but... RWR and Radar are not showing. Other instruments and switches are performing well. Do i need something else for RWR and Radar? Thanks a lot! Gavilan

Hello guys Yesterday I was trying to install Ikarus and something went wrong. I have lost all communication between DCS and other programs throug Export scripts. DCS-Bios, SRS and Ikarus are not working because they don’t receive any data from DCS I have checked my Export.lua and it looks good. What could be wrong? Thanks! Salute Gavilan

Hello McMIcha I have installed Ikarus and DCS Export script. Everything loos good, same machine, port as stated, but there are no connection between DCS and Ikarus. Ikarus is not recieving any data. Should I mees something? Thanks Salute Gavilan

Hello I am working on my first panel. I use DCS BIOS, a great tool and easy to use (Thanks IAN). At this point, I have succesfully sent data to DCS from 2 & 3 position Toggle Swithc, Button Switch, Rotary Encoder and Rotary Switch. From DCS, I have been able to light LED for landing gear indicatos, master caution, etc. But now, I would like to build a radio panel in order to control SRS Radio: switch channels, change radio vol, for both DCS's modules radios and expanded (virtual) radios that SRS implements. Does someone have succeded doinng this integration with SRS? Really will appreciate any help Thanks. Salute Gavilan

Thanks to all for your feedbacks and suggestions I am working on a F-5E panel and A-A master arm switch has toggle switch with a 3 position switch, so I cannot use mom switch solution I think will go with push button but I in ow that it could be hard to work consistently. I will post my solution later Thank again!

Hello! I'm working (design stage) on a very basic panel (my very first one) for my DCS F-5E. I have done an small research about instrument panel font type, but a haven't found one that match exactly with this acft. URW Gordon and Mil Spec 33558 are quite different.
