Thing is, you dont have to take abuse, if you are willing to do someting about it. If you are on our server and there is a problem, there is a lot of things you can do about it, such as posting on our forum, writing a pager message to some of us, getting on our ts server, I'm usually there when I'm online. A lot of things may happen when nobody is looking, on any server, and sitting there doing nothing about it isnt gonna help ;). Now, this is going off-topic, which is not cool, this is a thread about 169th server after all. So if you have something more to say, pm me or post on our forums.

Instead of writing crap about our server, why don't you post the names of the cheaters with some proof on our forum. I can't sit and watch over it all day, and neither can other admins. As for the missions, a lot of people prefer airquake over having to fly for half an hour before seeing a single target. If you dont like that, go to a different server, thats why other servers exist after all ;)

A higher dpa setting will make your track files larger from what I've heard... Not quite sure though. Besides, as most sticks return only 256 values, 400 is a good setting^^;;

awacs is ok, externals are not.

Im using a stock one with standard pots. Btw I tried changing the value to higher values than 3000, but didnt notice any particular difference.

In any case, with the Cougar, the signal is reduced and amplified electronically, to deliver a grand total of 65,635 separate values." while on cougar world website which is http://cougar.frugalsworld.com/features.php it is like this: "Capable of several thousand distinct values on the main joystick axes for much finer control in flying, adjustable via new firmware. Note that all other controllers and previous TM controllers distinguish only 256 distinct values from the joystick X and Y axes." Anyways, I use a Cougar and there was a noticeable difference after changing that setting. So it is worth it ;).

o.0 it makes quite a nice difference in gunzo. Hitting planes that are far away is a breeze now... The hero is the zaGURUinzaSKY guy tho. Doesn't matter who found the tweak, if he didn't tell about it... Ohnoes I just added some fuel to the flame :S.

I think Chizh said somewhere that R-77 and aim-120 have exactly the same modeling in game except for range, which is 10% bigger for the R-77. So you probably did a mistake somewhere. 2 topic starter: Try playing online, I'd say training with AI is bad for your skills because its so predicable. When you learn all the tricks it uses you will beat it, but once you get online it will be a nasty surprise seeing that many people do thing you don't expect. And yeah Sukhois rule the 1vs1 BVR now especially if the F-15 is using a more realistic payload (usually a mix of aim-7, aim-120 and a couple of 9's, 8 amraams setup is just too evil). But try fighting 2 or 3 foes and suddenly its not so hot at all. Or, if you have a programmable joystick you can always map a button so that the brake is out while you hold it down and retracts when you release the button. This way u can never get confused.

Народ, а в правда давайте бластеры на самолеты повесим? А то иногда так раздражает что пушка не поворачиватся :mad:. И лазеры для дальнего боя! А еще щиты энергетические на самолеты, чтоб не с одной ракеты взрывались, а штук с двадцати.. Чтоб было как на скриншоте. Хотя нет. Такая игра уже есть, так что лучше оставим Локон в покое. И если кто то не может сбить Ф-15 без бластеров, то знайте что вам надо тренироваться. Да, и еще - полеты на более "сложном" самолете, таком как Су-27 полезны для вашего мастерства. Посадите амера привыкшего к своим аим-120 ну сушку и посмотрите сколько он насбивает. Так что не надо переживать что мол у них преимущество - зато они умеют меньше ;).

Yeah, thats exactly what I mean Ice. A lot of talking from you, but when it comes to actually showing your skills, then it is "not our style". Well, its not my job to convince you otherwise. But remember that clever people will never consider you worth much until you prove it ;). And no, I dont remember losing vs you. So officially, the best pilots who have proven themselves are us and JaBoG32 (particularily saint, woody, pjotr etc) P.S. imagine a football played running around the streats, screaming "eey im the best, im the best!!". mmhm, why don't those who believe they are the best (thinking of 169th etc) register on http://www.lomacleague.com and show what they are worth? Coz if you never play there your wins/losses aren't logged, your skills cannot be verified, and you can always find excuses.. like "not my day, normally i would wtfpwn u" etc.. And let me tell you, LL challenging/match system is the best I've seen in a while. So, if you have the balls, join lomacleague now and show how good you really are ;). Until then all you say is not official and is just trash talking^^. As for who I think is the best, it must be my squadmate Packman. If we fly gunzo, we often turn equally fast and have to shoot each other in teh face. But he always evades my shots somehow while still hitting me. 4 out of the 5 times we collide though. m4dsk1llz for u right there 8).
