Fred's firmware patch got rid of that. this is physical movement of the stick in the center. to the aft that play is less noticeable, but stick is heavier in the front, so. if not the need to click the switches with the mouse in the cockpit - - -. 2. yes, ofc, sorry. should have sleep more. well, starting backwards, g940 has a 2 stage trigger - though it is good for Il-2, it is way less useful in jets. I know, ppl do some crazy stuff with MSFFB, but looks like g940 is way less popular DIY platform. yes, ofc, I will need external controller for that (all hail Mindog), i even have some older stuff. I just not sure, should I risk my g940, which is not in big supply right now, and almost go as an antique on ebay, or to buy and upgrade Fighterstick to Halls and decent controller will be way better option.

1. Looks like my stick developed free play and as stick is relatively heavy in front, it is leaning forward. Not much, perhaps 10% deadzone can fix it (I really dislike the idea of getting into the dive each time I releasing stick), but I do not like it. Probably it is a lash in gears, because it's plastic. Is that fixable without changing gear part of the gimbal? 2. Did anyone tried to modify the stick or throttle by adding buttons or hats (that button in the stick under thumb is really asking for exchange) into them? Probably, original controllers would not support it, so ofc it would need a MMJoy, but what about place for that additions inside the hulls? Or may be someone tried to replace a stick with something more ergonomic, like CH Flightstick?

:smartass: Actually, it had. According to airwar.ru, MiG-23UB was initially deployed with С-21М Weapon system and РП-22С "Сапфир-21М" radar. Only after it was discovered that radar does not worked reliably in this model, it was excluded from production, and sometimes dismounted and replaced by balance washers in the field. But I do understand that it may be not worth to do in the mod.

Basically this is VKB/Defender Cobra M5 + Gametrix ECS throttle, rebranded and remade by Asian Games (though some say that the latter is remake too, from some obscure chinese combo set). Remade, because originally it was made on MaRS sensors, not on Hall. thank you.
