Is there something I’m not doing or do I need to be at a certain altitude to use rockets correctly? I’ll fly SEAD destroy a radar site with sidearms and then go to use rockets to kill everything else but they always impact way above where I’m shooting. Do I need to be above a certain altitude? Good Day! I have started flying with a RIO brand new to DCS and last night he did something in the backseat that prevented me from using any of the pilot acquisition modes. Does anyone know what he might have done? The backseat Radar still worked but I couldn't use the front seat modes. I just want to know what to tell him if it happens again. Thanks guys!

I have only tried this a few times but it feels like in the hornet I almost have to point the nose straight at the ground to see the impact reticle. In other aircraft you can come in at a dive and eventually the marker will slide into view and you can pickle ordinance and then pull out but with the hornet I feel like I have point almost straight down to use CCIP am I missing a step? Is the flight model correct for the Phoenix? Sometimes if you watch them track they will lock onto chaff and they almost seem to wobble left to right back in forth really quickly. One I think I noticed about the A-10C, and I’ve only transfer completed one time was that it was harder to get the boom to contact but once the boom was in it seemed to be glued in there even though I was going up down left right. Good Day to you all, When I am done with a mission is there a certain way I’m supposed to end a mission? Sometimes I will have a score and sometimes I won’t. I played the ready 5 tomcat mission yesterday killed everything landed my tomcat shut it down ended the mission and had no score. Can someone tell me me why sometimes when I set commands or tasks the commands or tasks are greyed out instead of white? For example I might put down a tanker make a waypoint and tell it to fly an orbit turn on its tacan and act as a tanker but one or two of the tasks will be grey and the other will be white? I’ve yet to try it in the A-10C. I spent all weekend bragging about how good I have gotten with the tomcat only to have difficulty doing it when we all played together. It took me forever to get connected the first time. With the harrier I find that it’s hard to get connected but I find the throttle management really easy. I’ll have to try the warthog! No worries! Honestly I setup my hotas with the curves and deadzones in chucks guides. I struggled a ton at first but I set my deadzones to 4 for pitch and roll and it helped immensely in the tomcat. I’m still all over the place once I get hooked up but I’m confident enough that I feel like I can always get gas from the tanker now even if it looks ugly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
