I want to see WHATEVER A/C DCS is offering next, NOT what the general public wants in a vote. Voters always seem to vote 50/50 anyway because PEOPLE can never make up their damn minds or one half ALWAYS disagrees with the other HALF. Lets let the experts do their jobs at building what they want to; if they wanted our opinion, then they would have already asked :drink:

I think it's still PREMATURE to speculate on anything with Win7 as it has not/won't be released for a LONG time. Anyone still using XP, might as well be using Win95--it is soooo old. Bottom line here: MS are a bunch of f*%k ups and I don't like ANY of their Operating Systems. The day that Google decides to build an OS, will be a day of good news and the death MS and their overly confusing buggy bloat ware.

What kind of monitor do you have? And what are the specs?

I would go with $24.00 Logictech Extreme 3D Pro(half the cost of that goddy looking Cyborg X):joystick:; that way you don't have to fuss with extra crap components like separate throttle and rudder controls that end up just being in the way of everything else. Plus you are not in a real cockpit environment so there is no sense in spending money on a full blown setup that is a waste of money to begin with. What is wrong with reading the manual on the computer screen?

I would do a remap default with the control settings in DCS first and then see how it flys. Maybe you have accidently set up your rudder in the trimmer as well as the rudder--that would make it stick :joystick:

How is the economy bad in the U.S. of A? Did someone on your TV say it was bad? You really shouldn't listen to mainstream anything. It's there job to control the masses--and if you are NOT a goat, then I would advise getting out of the mindless herd. For your information; on average 90% of the work force is WORKING, and lots, and lots of people are working and making good money. Now if you were to tell me that we had a 90% unemployment rate, then I might have to agree that times were tough--so please, don't listen to what others say--believe in yourself; make your own path--don't follow the herd.

You should have gotten an Intel, and no you are not going to see an FPS increase--it's pretty much like crysis; wait another year for more advanced hardware to gain an advantage

Thanks bud, I almost had lost my *&^(%* mind! And I still feel a bit woosy from all the pain. Looking at your RAM, I'd seriously consider going with a minimum of 4GB. DDR2 800 240pin would run you 40 bones. I OC'd my 8800 and it worked flawlessly with BS on a ASUS P5B E6600 with 4GB Ram on Vista64 :book:

And you know what? Nothing; I got ZIP from M$ update, nor was I able to download this mystry driver from Nvida.com--they talk about it, but it's no where to be found. I think maybe my PC got very very sick by upgrading Win7 over Vista while installing NEW hardware; add my very aggressive CCleaner deletions, and my game was up. Something really messed up my OS HD, and I damn near couldn't even get it operational again to reinstall Vista64. I am now averaging 50FPS inside the cockpit compared to 30sub with my old 8800GTS 320mb vid card. :megalol:

Nothing strange....until I got the BSOD during boot. Put Vista64 back on and all my problems vanished!

After you click in the white box to make that window active, hit the print screen button. Then check your Screen Shots folder in BS and see what you got.
