people keep talking about the "new game engine".. Has there been an official announcement talking about reworking the current engine?

I have this weird Light line that moves with my head.. seems to pivot off the nose and go off in both directions. Cuts off my rotor shadows and stuff off the ground. (Nvidia Geforce 7950 with latest drivers). Also have huge performance spikes going to reformat my pc and see if it helps(it's due for a reinstall anyways). :joystick:

the only time i experienced this was my first attempt starting up the heli, and im sure i did it very wrong. I really do think its working as intended and you missed a switch or something :music_whistling:

it also trims your anti-torque pedals (rudder).. your bank pitch and roll.., have you watched the tutorial on how to trim ?

Are you doing the correct startup procedure? do you have falures on? did you check the lights? I believe is possible for crap to be broken @ start up

Is it possible to put multiple players in a squad? When you go to 2 of 2 you cannot select "Client" as an option.

Is it possible to re-cage the Shkval so it shows the gray screen? Id like to shut it down before coming in for a landing but if you shut off the targeting computer you lose your hud. I tried pressing O again but doesnt work. Also couldnt find anything in the manual

Id be concerned about this also.. BUT, they do use helicopters in RL along with jets. So I assume they can be supported by jets (say like a pair of F-15s fly air cover while 2 apache's fly in some CAS) Just an idea. Doesn't seem that that big of an issue.

Anyone have a full list of all the acronyms used in this sim? I think that would help me a lot with the learning curve of the manual and stuff :joystick:

Mine also works correctly by ticking the invert button. try clearing the axis first. reset it as you'd like, and then go into Axis Tune or whatever its called and tick invert. then move your throttle back and forth adn see if the red box moves along the line
