  1. even I had a dream LNS can make F-8 or F-4 act as MiG-21's foe with LNS' quality, at the same time, I have to say I also have a dream that the classic F-14 could be made with classic LNS quality. LNS realized my second dream instead. no doubt, LNS F-14 will be my choice, even if there are different DCS F-14. in my mind, classic fighter made by classic team will become the ever most realistic Tomcat in simulation world. Hope it won't let me down. also hope real life Tomcat pilots can take part in the team and test it, just like MIG21 pilot did in 21team, to make a highly convincable simulation.

    New User

Hi I'm new in steam. Days before, I installed a free try game in steam. I want to uninstall it. my question is To uninstall a steam game, should I just uninstall it in control panel like uninstall other routine game in PC? or any other specific steam-needed procedure? Thanks sorry, I don't want to start a new thread for this question, so I ask here, BTW Thank you!
  3. Thank you for respond I'v already realized and changed it. It works. The new created folder should be named" F-86F Sabre". incase any new friend need to know but I still don't know "place skins into the liveries folder in your saved games file structure..." could you explain what is the difference between the new way and the old way? And, where should I search and learn information like that? in the later days. Appreciate!
  4. Thank you so much!! I made a captial mistake:D I'll change saber to Sabre and try. Thank you for correction
  5. many controller peripherals have mini stick (or mini mouse? I don't know the correct name) such as TM Cougar's radar cursor. Warthog and logitech G940 also have mini mouse/ stick. But till now, shamefully to say, I still don't know how to let them work in DCS or BMS? and normally, Vpilot will use mini stick/mouse to implement what function in simulation? if possible, could you tell me how to wake it alive in DCS or maybe BMS? Thanks alot inadvance
  6. I'v searched for two days and tried many different way but failed to find how to ? I did create folder "F-86F" "f-86f" or "F-86F saber" in Bazar\ liveries but none of them work please tell me where ? or How? Thanks
  7. And one question need illumination For instance, DCS F-86, there is no F-86f folder in Bazar\liveries\ by default, originally. to make sure, MY qustion is I should create f-86f saber folder before generate the DCS snapshot? or just generate snapshot first and then creat the f-86f in Bazar\liveries? this answer will help me to understand JSGME better thanks
  8. I will install and try JSGME, thanks alot for giving me the link and the thread answered many questions Because there is no f-86f folder in MOD\liveries, I think, even use JSGME, I still need create a new f-86f folder in original MOD\liveries, am I right? If I don't, there won't be corresponding folder for JSGME _mod. Appreciate!!
  9. do you think I should name the new folder "f-86f" or "f-86f saber"? anyway, I'll try and let you know Thanks alot
  10. First thanks for this tuitorial and all mod makers, of course. And totally agree with Mastiff. Compared with the time of Mod making, make a structure is prettry short, but will save all users' time. why not? Appreciate!
  11. Hi thanks I failed to locate the "F-86F sabre" folder in DCS world\Bazar\liveries\ there is no F-86F sabre folder in there what happen? did you met same situation? Thanks
  12. Agree, now, I like FFB stick more than warthog. unless I need many buttons.
  13. Thank you so much!! Now I enjoy FFB stick without any doubt in my mind:D:pilotfly:
  14. Thank you sooooo much !!! I'v tried, my FFB stick finally work perfectly. So, "swap axis" is the key and the huey X axis reverse problem I met is because in my DCS "FF tune", as default, X axis is inverted, don't know why. Deeply appreciate!!!
  15. what is Center trimming mode in option setting ? it is for FFB stick ? or for non FFB stick? Thanks
  16. I am using force feedback stick FFB2, and I met force feedback trimming problem, could you tell me what I should do? and after trim button was pressed, the stick is moveing to a opposite direction. I want stick stay at 5 degree pitch down, it will trim to 5degree pitch UP. what happen? and how should I do?
  17. Totally agree
  18. To make sure, are you talking about reversing FFB2 X axis to resolve the problem I met said in #10? Reversing in DCS option/control setting? if yes, that willresolve the trimming problem, but the movment other than trim will be reversed, right? I'll try if not in option/control setting, how to? where is the thread link? Appreciate
  19. after friends suggestion in this forum, I got my first FF stick, FFB2. and FFB2 is the only FF stick I have. About auto center, after i try FFB stick, I think nonFF sticks' auto center function is the biggest barrier to fly heli smoothly. and FFB2 has auto center force but different. all I can say is my heli skill is suddenly improved by the FFB2, I fly heli in FSX and many other games, but when I fly HU-1DCS , I found I don't really know how to fly a heli, because this Huey is so great. With nonFF stick, it is really hard, almost impossible, for me to fly Huey as smooth as tuitor did in training video, but after FFB2, Woooh, suddenly it became so easy, I mean, touchable to reach a smooth fly. And, you can feel the air, at least I smile like a child. year before, when FF stick appear, I thought it is just for those gamer who like enjoy the gun shooting and I turn a cold should to it. After I try FFB2 alone, I regret that I miss so many years to fly with FF stick. I have to say, FFB2 is the only one I tried, I not qualify to say good or not. ATAG Lewis is expert. Talk about Huey fly, the only weird thing I met with FFB2 is: for instance, to stablize the horizon, I hole stick 5 degree left to the center, then I press trimmer, but the stick will suddenly move to 5 degree right, the opposite dirction. So now if I want bank 5 degree left to stay horizon, I need tilt stick 5 to the right and press trimmer on cyclic. So it is really hard to trim it precisely. That only happen on X roll Axis. Y Axis is fine and good. I don't know why? any friend can illuminate? IF this problem can be resolved for my stick, FFB2 is much better than nonFF stick for heli flight. Anyway, DON't buy FFB2! don't forget! because I want to buy one more, as backup HAHAHA hope helpful
  20. Appreciate! to all I get all answers from all your responds as Invisibull told, those in user file section have already feed my need. furthmore, before I install them, I think the paint of FSX milviz F-86 is so metal realistic, with all details. Till now it is still the best F-86 paint I'v ever seen. hope some friend can make paint in that quality. Hope. Thank you all so much!!
  21. Does USAF have a fighter with head air intake and with small radar in intake cone? that will be better than F-4 for Mig21 as a Foe. a Vietnam era will be great. of course, it need to be authentic as Mig21. authentic is the first need, then Mig21's Foe, then Vietnam War era
  22. MY dream for DCS is to recreate Vietnam war. because all those aircrafts are totally declassified, so easy to be made authentic. For simulation, I prefer authentic much more than advanced tech, and authentic is DCS' key. and I even dream to have a 3rd party scenery, Vietnam. jungle next to jungle, hut next to hut, and not so large territory. many will like it, and it will open a new era for galaxy new DCS aircraft models. I already have that picture in my mind:D:pilotfly:
  23. vote, Mig-21 is best simulation ever had seen, but it need a foe. a declassified F-4 is much easier to be made authentic by LNS team. And it did fight mig-21 head to head so it is the best choice to be made next. without Foe, even I like LNS' Mig-21 most, it can only be my tourist plane.
  24. today, after install F-86, I saw only one paint in mission editor is that normal? if not, what happen? if normal, where are the other customed paints located? and how to install new paint to DCS saber? Thanks
