Hi, about the originale post, in my group we are running the same mission, since a year or so, there's a rendering problem with ships spawning mid-mission. In a MP environment, if a ship group spawns while you are connected to the server, the ships stop rendering after the first hit, ordinance goes through them without detonation, you just see view effects created by the ships (engine smoke and water displacement) both in TGP (ccd or flir view) and F9 view. They seems to appear if you look at them from a certain angle but they are not solid objects for you. This is a client side problem, or a client-server syncro problem, as soon as you disconnect and reconnect to the server the problem disappears (for you).. It's worth mentioning that the problem is related to MOVING ships. On another MP mission that our editors created we resolved by having only static ships.
PS. We did not test this issue lately and I think it's been reported and aknowledge.
PPS. About the smoke in flir view it happens to me too, but not to other players I'm playing with, and in wags video you can clearly see it's not happening, so it is most probably a personal video settings/ drivers/ mod issue tampering with in-game IR picture rendering
