Hey everyone, I've been looking everywhere for some data on SAM systems modelled in A10c final, but I can't for the life of me find any compiled information. I know there is a lot of information for F16AF and the like, but im looking for something more specific (if it exists). I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious! Sick of getting my ass handed to me and doing the ground level shuffle! I would totally be up for converting any information into the DCS: Wiki if the author agrees. I think that would be a really good resource for new pilots looking for that tiny scrap of information they missed in the manual (like myself, a life-time flight-sim tragic). If anybody reading this wants to attach stuff they have written, (regarding anything DCS) ill chuck it in the wiki :D Thanks guys! And thanks to the DCS developers/testers! Keep up the good work!

Wait.... Really? I've been had!

OMG I still can't do it! 1: Set to TR. 2: Mode to MAN. 3: Dial in first frequency on preset #1, click load. 4: Dial in second frequency on preset #2, click load. 5: Once finished move mode to Preset. 6: Move preset number to talk on the frequency that you saved it to. I follow these instructions and I can contact ATC when its on manual. ill hit load. Then I switch to preset and repeat another ATC command and it doesn't work! *face palm* Its so simple! How am i getting this wrong?!?!?!

Argh. I've been hitting my head against the wall trying to get this to work! I have a good understanding of everything else.... but to set a preset!!?!? arrrrghhhh I'll try again today. *breathes in*

Close Combat IV! heaps of good mods and the battles are intense. I find the maps in CC5 to be disappointingly small. The graphics are 2d but looks and runs great on any laptop now. The original theater of war was great. I bought the sequels but they tried to do too much. I found the AI to be too lacking and the control scheme wasn't upto it. I hate throwing away units because i can't control them properly or they are just too stupid... OMG a 3d close combat would be great, or even pseudo-3d with bigger maps and a complete campaign (with a CC5 theater map) would be sweet... I think i have hearts of iron 3 but i haven't gotten my head around all the point systems...

Hi everyone, This might be a dumb question.... Sometimes the steerpoints are up in the air, so when i slave the TGP to steerpoint its up in the air. Its a pain in the arse to slew it all the way down (if I can find the point on the ground). Is there an easy way to get it to point at the ground underneath the steerpoint? Thanks!
