  1. I fixed it, I don't know how but I just spam clicked the piss out of the button and it got unstuck?
  2. Okay, no need to call me a dork for making sure this was intended or not, not everyone owns a tomcat flight manual, I literally said "not sure if this is intended". If thats how people are going to treat me then why should i even put in the effort?
  3. If you saw the bandit was jamming you would've also seen the AWG-9 already randomly tracksplit and lost track in the first place, there was no lock to break. The advice you gave was already done
  4. There have been multiple instances where Aim-54C has simply failed to go aqquire a target or go active in a given situation that simply should not happen, Today I got the most blatant case of this that i literally just closed DCS. I was flying on the GS server at angels 45 ish at mach 1.6-1.7 to engage a F15 going about mach 1.8 also at angels 45 ish, I fired a Aim-54C at about the 1:19:15 mark on the Tacview file at a range of 45NM. The Aim 54 proceeded to close to 8NM with the nose pointing RIGHT at the F15 and then proceeded to pitch up and come within 1.9NM of a F15 who didnt change course or even MANEUVER in response to this missile. So, why did it miss? Target size was set to large, we supported it until it supposedly went active, so why? Here is a link to the file serverside: https://drive.google.com/file/d/13LGyIMA63Dr6FgT7i2ryfBsdIv5zVFqq/view?usp=sharing Here is a link to my track file clientside: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1YCZ6DCQ42_kI1r5Mz36Pdn2L6-5mJIVa/view?usp=sharing And here are pictures from tacview itself Edit: I would've included a direct video clip of the whole thing happening but my rio and I's reaction to watching this happen was quite... Vulgar and wouldn't be appropriate to post on the forums raw, so I'll upload one without audio:
  5. So I was on taxi after making a landing, looking back at the wing moving my controls and flaps cause hey, spoilers look cool, and then suddenly the outermost section of spoiler was jammed in the half up position? Im not sure if this is intended but i asked around and nobody has ever seen the outer spoiler deploy alone with the controls neutral and wings fully extended. After cycling the flaps out and back in it fixed the issue, but then i was able to recreate it on the other wing! Heres some pictures, A replay of when it happened, And the tacview file is too large to embed so I will give you a link to that too https://youtu.be/63PxhWQiyYM https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cCNiXdNSO_NDrgJGux04jirQAir93QSY/view?usp=sharing
  6. I need help understanding something, SO I got on the GS server and decided "you know what, i havernt flown f14 in a good bit lets try it again" So i went up and being aware aim 54 is no longer the god missile i decided to climb to an altitude of 50000 feet to try to rattle off some aim 54s, i open fire with 4 C mk47s at high altitude (angels 30+) targets at around 60-70 miles Only to look at f6 and see my aim 54s.... not really lofting at all? Like they only went to an altitude of about 60000 feet and started a stupidly shallow dive towards said targets and lost all their speed before getting half way there, Did Hb change something AGAIN? where are those nice 45 degree lofts we used to have?
  7. THIS is interesting, If its as simple as changing one or two values in the lua why hasn't heatblur adjusted it already? Or has heatblur opted to try to compensate for this just by increasing the rocket motors thrust output by a certain percentage?
  8. I just flew a single mission, angels eeeeh about 40000 against a non maneuvering IL-78 dead hot aspect at 40000 feet with a aim 54c mk 47, this glorious missile topped out at a blistering mach 3.12 in its loft and DIED at 64.29NM from its launch point completely falling limp short of the target by like 20 miles (i launched at 100) Limp aim 54.acmi Sorry wrong tacview, here you go folks
  9. This is the best damn Idea ive ever seen, I will finally be able to slingload a cow and use it as a wrecking ball in helicopter PvP combat
