  1. occhio a cosa chiediamo, ci manca solo che si debba ricorrere ai tool online per pianificare i voli con SID, STAR con cartine jeppesen e via dicendo anche solo per sparare due maverick :)
  2. Updated download link.
  3. Am I the only one who would actually thinks that a Vietnam theater would be boring (mostly dropping dumb bombs at trees), I had some fun "back then" with Flight of the Intruder though. I would rather prefer to have scenarios of the 80s-90s in hypothetical "what if" like an URSS scandinavian invasion or, more on the realistic side, a Desert Storm or Six-day war. Personally I'm waiting for the Falklands (or Malvinas, depending how you see it) scenario.
  4. updated download link and minor fixes.
  7. December 1981. Brezhnev crashed one of his very fast western luxury cars. It is not clear if it was due to an excess of vodka or one of the (many) recent seizures. The problem is that he will not be getting back soon to his role. On this scenario Georgia and Chechnya have unilaterally declared indipendence. You are pilot of Mig-21 Red5 on a 10 mission linear campaign where you will be running CAP missions, interceptions, air to ground and even using precision stand-off weapons in many VVS coordinated attacks. I hope you enjoy this campaign as much as I enjoyed playing it and as much as I enjoy the Mig-21. MODS Mig-21 (obviously) CREDITS rudel_chw for the static airport templates (modified them a bit to reflect 80s SAM equipment) DOWNLOAD https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302704/ UPDATES 17/11/2018 fixed the first mission Su-25s not heading for the target area 23/12/2018 fixed last mission trigger broken after last 2.5 update, additionally now campaign will progress if player comes back to base safe, regardless of mission result.
  8. Thanks a lot for this template, it will be immensely useful ;)
  9. Hi, I'm creating a campaign for the Mig-21 as an abkhazian pilot but I cannot remember if the Abkhazia livery is included with the Mig-21 module or not, can please someone check? I think not but I am not sure anymore. EDIT: found https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3259384/ ;)
  10. A quick solution that I would use for this case is adding a trigger: - when unit enters zone -> set flag 1 to ON Then, in the mission goals, you could have a single mission goal that checks that the flag 1 is ON: - Flag 1 is ON -> 100 points I am a software dev so I ask sorry in anticipation if something is not clear ;)
  11. Nice touch about having all files with the same prefix, definitely will apply that one. As for the "juicy" thumbnail, well, I need to find something with the correct copyright and not just steal content, but I will try to figure out something. As for the rest, I just unzip the main folder to my /Saved Games/DCS/Missions/Campaigns/en folder and that's it. Forgot to mention, I got the AV-8B recently and will most likely update this campaign for it (with the Tarawa), but only after I will consider it done for the A-10C.
  12. Updated a bug in the Rescue Pilot mission and fixed two JTAC bugs. Updated the Predator to Reaper as well.
  13. will try this one as soon as I finish a campaign with the A-10C. really looking forward to use the SU-25T. ;)
  14. Fixed the problem. Apparently the problem is that the goal was to have "1" GBU in the bridge area. If you drop 2 (and usually you would) then the flag goes to false again. So now I fixed that with a flag that will not be set by the mission goal but before, so the flag will be true by mission's end. I tried the fix and it worked fine. I also added a communication message to notify the player that the GBU-10 was dropped in the expected area. Thanks for the feedback ;)
  15. Thanks Gibo, I guess there must be some problem with the mission goal there. Currently it is set a "bomb GBU-10 in Bridge Zone" where bridge zone is a 650ft radius area around the bridge (you can see it opening the mission in the mission editor). I will check how to reproduce your issue, it worked fine for me, probably there is some other way to do set that goal in a more reliable way. Thanks for the help ;) EDIT: replicated easily, indeed no score for me also. Time to debug.
  16. New updated version, I made some enemy units visible on the planner map. Also some areas which trigger mission eventsare now visible. As a final touch I reworked quite a bit the briefings: * clear objectives (hopefully!) * allied groups and how to contact them * threat assessment information. Required modules: * A-10C (but every mission could be modified to use SU-25 or SU-25T) Enjoy :)
  17. Hi Eduardo, thanks for the input. You are absolutely right, I played those missions lots of times and know them by heart. As for the "no mission objectives" or "intelligence on enemy forces" my intention is to let the player see things evolving in the first mission. There are no clear objectives and no clear assessment on the enemy threat because there is not yet a state of war. My idea is that you are a flying as an observer and suddenly things happen forcing the player to react quickly. But you are right, I left out that information also on the following missions and made too many assumptions on what the player would be expecting. That's a good insight for the future stuff.
  18. Hello, had a copy of DCS (A-10C) since 2011 but never had a machine good enough to run it. Now I do have and have been spending some time with it. I created this mini-campaign (6 missions) for the A-10C thinking about a hypothetical scenario where Turkey invades the Autonomous Republic of Adjara. Hope you enjoy it, and if you do probably there will be another one coming later in the Persian Gulf. No mods required apart the A-10C (which can be replaced with an A-10A or any other plane of your choice). Feedback (good and bad) will be appreciated in order to improve ;) DOWNLOAD: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3302705/ To not lose track of the changes I will be attaching the latest campaign zip to this post. 01/12/2018: Fix a missing spawning JTAC (not mission required though) and a couple of spelling errors. Added more information on two mission briefings. 11/11/2018: Updated missions failing JTAC and fixed a bug in the Rescue Pilot mission 04/12/2018: Lowered JTAC ceiling on first mission
