So I'm having a real problem catching the wire when i do a case 1.. but ive not missed a case III wire yet??? Everything is the same AOA, descent , on speed.. everything but i always miss the wire for case1 first time around.. I can even put cross wind on for a case III and still not problem?? And i would love to watch a reply of my case1 but every time i try the hornet just falls out of the sky in the reply and crashs some way or another.. what is going on????

The way I understand flaring is that if you fly the hornet at a 8.1AOA its perfectly flared for landing.. so there is no need to flare as you already are..

This is very much a pain in the butt, i had a great mission tonight in Hornet landed re-armed and headed off again for some ground pounding after hitting my last target the mission trigger put a Mig behind me at 10nm with No warning i get a spike on my 6 and warning hes fired, little bit of fancy flying and i down him with guns.. I was like hell Yer need to watch the reply of this.. everything was 100% till landing re-armed and unlike the game i had the replay showed me just going full burner in my taxi right into a parked A10 with a big ol fire ball to follow.. this needs to be fixed

Ive tryed, even loaded up Mav-E and used the bottom DDI i put a code in but it entered as the int of the bomb not code.

Yes, but can you get them to pick up a Laser?

Bummer, i have worked out a trigger to get a chopper to take off when a pilot eject but there is no way to get the chopper to fly to the spot were you or Ai eject.

I bought the F18C as my first mod... and have not looked back.. bought FC3 after and flying the old planes is just boring now.. hahaha.. I will add i used to play LOMAC many moons ago.

Is there a trigger i can set for a chopper to pick me up or Ai pilots after ejecting?

P.S as all this was happening i had kept the lock on the lead Mig but still managed to lock the wing with IR

So i was playing around in my F18 with 2 x mig23's and had something happen that i did not think possible, i was at 40,000 the mugs at 15,000 I locked the lead fired a 120c and waited for it to go pitbull i then locked his wing man fired my second 120c no need to wait for pitbull due to the distance then relocked the lead again firing a 2nd 120c at him as this happens his wingman turned back on me at 7nml i changed to Aim9's x and with out unlocking the lead got a IR lock on the wingman and splashed him with my 9x and also splashed the lead with the 2nd 120c i had fired is this normal in the Hornet?

Well no not at all, very cool really ive not seen the CPU go over 70 and the GPU over 65.. but yes its alittle noisy as i have the fans Max but i have headphones :pilotfly: Ive made my first video tonight locking in FRAPS to run at 100fps and i had one little hick up but it REC the game mostly at 1080p at 80fps.. I'll post the link after its uploaded

Well i got my new laptop, Ended up with the Acer Preditor 500.. and its a beast running DCS on HIGH settings getting 100fps at low alt.. and up to 130fps at high alt.. Specs i7 8750H, 1070 GPU @8GB, 16GB DDR4, and 256GB SDD with back up 1TB HD... very Happy!!!!

Also @Bitmaster im after abit of info of what to do with my install on my new laptop, ive DCS installed on my old laptop and F18 mod installed.. what is the best way to install it on my fresh machine.. and is there a way to run the installer without re-downloading again? I've also heard i need to uninstall the F18 mod.. and reinstall on new machine?

Well my wife is the space problem really.. Hahaha and really ive only space for the Laptop and 16000, and I have to move it when not gaming... pain in the Ass...lol :cry: This is why i need a laptop... and its looking as ill get a Acer Predator 500 Good Repair, Good cooling and upgradable ram to 64G

Well if it was 2015 or before you would be right, but from around 2017 gaming laptops made a big big jump in performance and really are only 10% behind there equal PC machines .. the only really problem now days is thermal throttling.. but i need one due to space in my house and dont have a place to put a permanent PC..
