Well i did it, got the x52Pro on sale for $260 normally gots for 320 or so

We just need a xmas sale

so im finally going to upgrade to a HOTAS ive been using just a TM 16000 the old green one for flying for a few years now.. my budget is around the $200.00 AUD Mark, im looking at the X52 as its prefect for price and what not.. but i see alot of people having problems with the x52's... just a heads up I used to own one back in the day when saitek x52's were X52's but ive read saitek was sold, bought and sold again.. my old x52 was bloody GREAT but I thought id ask first see how they play in DCS.

I asked Matt just the other day on YouTube is LTWS in the works, his reply was later in early access.

So I've been playing the BVR 8 Vs 8 instant action mission most of the arvo for the F18 and well... for the first time I'm a ACE!!! in a single fly out downing 5 of the 8 red fighters.. hehe kinder chuffed to be honest.. yes its Vs AI and yes I did get shot down but my little guy Ejected to safety :pilotfly: what's your best result in the F18 in this mission or others? :joystick:

Well im only a new to DCS but back in the day I had LOMAC so and my first plane was the F18.. it's a blast to fly and the missions are endless. Kill planes tanks and ships land on the CV, refueling is easy and in not to long we will have full SEAD capabilities.. hands down i say get the F18C

Dam still you would think the Big tankers have more hit points then a little ship right LOL.. I mean everything I hit with the Mav's just Implodes.

hey guys I'm just wondering about Ships damage model? So I made a mission to Strike the ship in the pic, and well it took 3x Mav-G's and still did not go down in the end I dropped a MK83 on his head using DLY1 setting.. oh and ill add, I set the Mav's to DLY2 as I don't know a lot about killing ships but I know its best to set a Delay on any fuse so it pens the Hull and then Detonates inside doing MAX Damage.. is this even modelled in DCS ship models ? oh and I've used the Mav-G's Vs Oil takers and it only takes 2 vs them using the DLY2 setting.. 3 + a Mk83 seems a little over the top for a little ship... thoughts ? https://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=199100&stc=1&d=1543748459

I would like to know how many deaths Vs hrs lol im at 70hrs and 61deaths with a easy 30 of my deaths hitting the BACK of the deck..

I'm using 16 for carrier ops with no problem in current beta

There lots of stuff on it that i dont understand but more or less it lets you know your trim setting for landing. In other news ive think ive got my case1 nutted now :thumbup::smartass: 7 out of 7 wires today.. the problem was i was coming in just alittle to high and the hook was missing the wire.. I'm now getting the 2nd or 3rd wire now :joystick:

That's for the trips guys.. think ive got it worked out now with all these tips.. I've now done about 3hrs this arvo just doing case1
