  1. I lurk and check in every now and then to check progress on Nevada terrain etc... I've been out of simming for ~5 years due to personal life being too busy but hope to build a new rig and get back in Nov-Dec timeframe... I purchased BS1 (DVD) and A-10 (Steam) and have never fired up either. I am only interested in AFM only, but if I understand correctly, that will be offered up on FC3 now??? Please help me purchase best bang for buck strategy for integrating products into "DCS World"? I'm confused... What is my best path forward if I want to fly BS, Mustang, and any other AFM plane or Heli (Russian or US)??? Also want to use Nevada IG when it arrives. Please help - there are so many options at this point, I'm not sure what to do. Not sure what is best bang for the buck path forward.
  2. What is projected Nevada scenery release date? Pardon if this has been asked a million times, but curious about the subject... I only stop in here occassionally... I remember a thread on the Nevada scenery and it looked promising... Have the developers ditched the project? Understanding was that it was supposed to use new DX11 features and speed FPS while looking better... Is that the gist of it?
  3. Thanks. How do I access the key... Does DCS go looking for it automatically, do I write it down, etc...? I went to my steam account and I see my A-10 purchase there but nothing about an activation key...
  4. Thanks. My question is how do I purchase from STEAM (as I did) yet NOT use STEAM to download the game as suggested on p. 1 of this thread? Installing instead from the DCS site getting the latest patch, etc from them. A few posts indicated there's an "activation code" that can be used after downloading the sim from DCS...
  5. I'm a noob here so be gentle... So... I go to STEAM and purchase a download code. Then, I head over to the DCS site and download the sim/latest patch. Then, I use the key to "activate" the sim (not sure what that means)... And violla! I can play... BUT... What do I do if I build a new rig or reinstall, etc... DO I just keep the downloaded "key" and activate again? ok, here'e the message I got in an email frm STEAM. Note sure where I get the "activation key"... I have a STEAM account I opened for IL-2 COD, but that seems to be a STEAM only type game as far as updating, etc... If I understood previous posts right, I should be able to download a key and then get A-10 directly from the DCS site? Yes? --------- Dear Tom, Thank you for your recent purchase on Steam.
