F-18 is my favorite aircraft, and then F-16. I just cant wait to get Viper also. I hope this year we will have EA to DCS:F-16. Will be fantastic. :)

F-18 is much better and modern aicraft.

So as I understood when final product is ready, we will have both LITENING and ATFLIR pods. First we will get LITENING, and after that ATFLIR. Right?

Who needs this plane? I think its much better for whole DCS community to get ASAP full capabilities of Hornet and F-16CJ + F-15E, instead of planes like Cristen Eagle and Bronco. Thats my opinion. This is combat simulator first of all.

Seems like we get nothing for Hornet from today's OB update...

If it is exactly 2005 Hornet, we should get a lot of modern systems.

I think after tomorrow we will have two other modes.

Using of LITENING is realistic also, when it is used by USMC.

I think that wont be technical issue also. They share the logistics. Just for example, central fuel tank is much bigger than LITENING, but this isnt a problem to land on carrier.

Can Hornet land on carrier with LITENING on central station? Or its used when aircraft operate from airfields only?

Seems like all is practice, practice...I just never practice AA refueling. I `ve a lot of practice flying F-18 and i can land on carrier in storm and full darkness without any problems. But I cant do AA refueling:pilotfly:

Yes man, I hope so...They also mentioned that a lot of systems in F-16 are similar/same with F-18 systems. So that will save time for making F-16 module.

ApoNOOB, first of all i wanna thank you so much man, for the excellent explaintation of AA refueling. Its very strange for me to have such kind of problem with refueling, because I have more than 300 hours of Hornet and 600+ carrier landings... But i`ve never tried AA refueling...and when i try that those days, I totally failed... Just cant hold the plane when im close enought to refuel. Still move up and down and left-right....

And how I can stop moving left-right...its impossible whatever i do, hornet keep moving. I use Trhustmaster T 16000 M HOTAS FCS.

LOL 5 years for developing Hornet??? I didnt know that...Hope we will not waiting so much about F-16...

AGM 45 Shrike is much more older (Vietnam war era and even earlier) weapon. And it is very inacurrate. Just use HARM.

HARM is great weapon. I hope we will have more advanced capabilities when next modes are avaible.

I just cant deal with refueling...everytime when im trying and get close enought to the tanker, my hornet start moving left-right like sh...it. I get tired of this.:doh:
