  1. Well i have almost same setup except i have I5-9600K OC to 4.9 and 2666 DDR4 rams , 1080TI is asus 11 OC Gaming model and HTCVivePro (and still has in shelf HTC Vive what i used to use earlier). I might need to check IL-2 again but like example i can get DCS to run on 90 FPS if i lower SS in SteamVR to 1.0 and dont use shadows and AAx2 settings (MSAA off) But i suppose there are factors contributing to this experience like example what are SS settings on each game on SteamVr and what are game settings. And what i have noticed that there are also differences what you have set in Nvidia control panel. iRacing forums have had some good topics when people have different settings and optimal settings of Nvidia settings. And not least it is also much how you feel game which can be personal matter.
  2. I agree. I have mainly VR experience of 6 different VR games and then few demos - Warthunder - iRacing - IL-2 BoS&BoM - Elite Dangerous - DSC - Eurotruck simulator 2 If i would need to place in order how well VR is impelemented i would place them imaginery basket so that: 1. DSC, iRacing its hard to say which one has better implementation but both are clearly using development resources also for VR and i do not have much to complain except that i wait Vulcan but i would say job well done :). Even i would probably raise DCS as number one as it has possibility to make world scaling to match your feeling about size of the world what iRacing dont have 2. Elite dangerous: Elite Dangerous has also very good VR but some of the menus etc (and there are quite many of those make it sometimes difficult to use). I would probably put it to first "basket" if they would make world scaling like DCS has 3. IL-2, ETS2: both are also quite nice to play in VR mode but ETS2 has quite old engine and some graphics parts are problematic on it. Also VR part is done by one developer when he has time so they are not fully concentrating on it which is shame as it would have lot of potential. On the other hand IL-2 Battle of Stalingrad seems to have generally quite good VR but it seems to be quite untable client and also it goes to SteamVR loading screen quite a lot (and i have quite top end computer setup) 4. Warthunder: Flying is quite ok with that (even last time i tried it i had some strange graphic glitch and cockpit graphics looked really and and quite of blueish). But tank section what i would love to play is not designed for VR at the moment So i would say that DCS is probably one of the best what you can get for VR titles at the moment.
  3. GPU utilisation dont support this as graph in bigger picture shows that CPU is mainly used in 20-30% utlilization
  4. Ok so i did two different runs in Caucasus map. First i have SS set to 1.0 which is VivePro native resolution and on 2nd run i have set SS to 1.6 On both cases you can see GPU utiliziation on picture circled in blue and highest it is 97 and all the time over 80% I try to keep graphic settings so that GPU utilization dont go into 100% because then it is not possible to play in VR. On both cases CPU utilization beside few spikes where it goes to 40% it stays on avarage between 25-20% on all cores. So i do not know where do you get your ideas but in my setup GPU is bottleneck even without exceeding or pushing resolutions and struggles to maintain even native resolution. CPU is hardly heating at all. So modern GPU dont handle and draw VR easily and without problems at least not when person is using HTCVive Pro/Odysseus or coming Pimix displays.
  5. And you have experience of how many different HMD and how long time? Do you consider Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti ROG-STRIX-GTX1080TI-O11G-GAMING as modern GPU?
  6. Actually i have tried with 1080Ti and I5-9600 with HTCVivePro with SS between 1.5-2.0 and GPU is what is on 100% and CPU is rarely goes to 40% (but actually that is not per core statistics as i am looking for software which would show individual core performance in graph format)
  7. I have latest Nvidia driver just updated some days ago (but didnt had any affect for problem), windows 10 and 1080Ti. I havent really used this software a lot yet but i was planning to start to use this. I once tested it projecting it via videoscreen to view it on large screen. I like to think that after that it has started to freeze I have also SteamVr and HTCVivePro if those makes any relevance. Is there some crash/dump log in software where it would be possible to start to trace reason?
  8. I have latest version of Tacviewer Demo version and problem is that right after I start client it goes unresponsive. It shows 3 day left of demo version but it stays underesponsive until I kill it from windows. I have tried reinstallating it, deleting it and reinstalling and have deleted export files from saved games folder. :(
  9. I did some testing with HTC Vive Pro in SteamVR Beta 1.1.3 Motion smoothing off In DCS Texture HIGH Terrain textures HIGH Civ traffic LOW Visib range HIGH Anisotropic filtering 2X Trees visibility 50% Other settings OFF cockpit display resolution 1024 PD 1.0 Tested with A10C in 2nd training mission by learning high and close to ground With 180% Supersamping setting in SteamVR frame timing (projected to vr hud) shows timing between 14-16 ms and occasionally when going close to ground, flying over small villages etc it goes over 20 ms. FPS stays around 45 with 14-16 ms (if frame timing goes over 11ms you start to drop frames and FPS out of 90). When timing goes over 20 ms then also fps drops to 25-30 and you notice screen freezes but with 45 fps it is quite stable. If motion smoothing is turned on in SteamVR then there is small loss of FPS and it is not stable even in 45 FPS when flying straight so definitely without Motion smoothing I get better fps. When I change SteamVR supersample setting to 150& then FPS is around 85-90 and frame timing between 11-12 ms. Those small spikes it jumps to 12 or 13 ms then fps drops to 80 or so but that is not enough to notice any drops. Same time CPU is around maxium 50% utilization so definitely graphic card is limiting factor at the moment in my setup. Hardware specs I5-9600 @4.9 32 GB 2666 Mzh DDR4 DCS runs on own Samsung 860 SSD with Samsung Magician enabled Asus 1080Ti few percent overclocked to 1750. I plan to test how much it is possible to oc and to keep still game stable). HTC Vive Pro
  10. I am definitely interested when you are ready to make production sets. I belive your product will have big interest among people who fly/use VR. As I can see that you enjoy developing product, testing different things etc I do hope sincearly that when you have product finalised you find way to handle all incoming orders, produce them and still keep doing what you love most :)
  11. Hello Patriot Do you sell any of those panels (just engraved panel not electronic or switches?) I have also started to build A10-C cockpit and I am looking different places/options where to get those panels? Do you live in Samara? I have driven few times past it recent years and actually might come to visit there in February for one Samara motorcycle club festival.
