  1. f3n3k, as I said in point 3, the Paypal things is being looked into. I received some preliminary results just now, and the paypal payments does seem to have gone through. Users that used Paypal can probably ignore this thing altogether, there are still some checks to perform there though. I'll give you definitive news as soon as I can. Obviously, if any paypal customers have performed a second purchase and the first one went through, this will be refunded.
  2. f3n3k, as I have said: we are in contact with the payment processors. Obviously we couldn't do this during the night yesterday because they would not be at their office. Regarding responses to tickets: there are literally hundreds of these and more coming in practically every minute. If you want us to handle them all speedily, we'll have no-one left to handle the really important thing here: figuring out exactly what happened. I have explained everything that we do know already: 1) ED has not received any money for these transactions. 2) People using card were not charged for these transactions (but got a serial number for free) 3) It appears there is an exception in the case of those that use Paypal. This is being looked into. Considering point 1 above, I suspect you'll find it hard to repay money we never received. Thus the necessity of going through channels with the payment processing services so that they can investigate it thoroughly. This happens during their business hours, and takes as much time as it takes them to perform their checks. We cannot send people over to their offices and demand to be let loose inside their computer systems. Also, I would much appreciate it if you could calm down. Getting worked up helps no-one, and even though you do have every reason to be frustrated, the rules of this forum still do apply.
  3. This is being done, of course. But there is a lot of them. As I mentioned yesterday, this will most likely be extended. Last I heard was 31 days (meaning roughly 24th of May). Since we're having reports of some users having had their payments go through, and some users having never had money deducted, I am geetting the impression that paypal transactions charged money while "normal" card transactions did not. I have however not been able to get this verified yet, but it is being investigated. Please, everyone, nothing is helped by having arguments, I feel it is much better to keep the thread as much to-the-point as possible so that other users seeking information can read the thread easily. Bee assured that everything will be set right.
  4. What is the ticket number?
  5. This should not matter. Generally, credit/debit cards are actually the same thing; the main difference is whether they are linked to a banking account or a credit account. Reservations etcetera work the same in both cases.
  6. Has the bank actually stated this? Remember, there is a difference between a reservation of funds (happens at the start of a transaction) and actual debit of funds (at end of transaction, where reservation is removed and funds transferred). However, if looking only at an electronic bank statement (or ATM slip etcetera), this does not actually show you the funds, it shows funds that are disposable - but funds that are in reservation are not disposable, and thus you won't see them even though they never left the account. Some banks (like mine) can show reservations differently, but usually only in the case of domestic transactions. Typically the only way to find this out is to talk to the bank. If there has been a long delay and you are certain that funds were actually deducted and that they have not returneed, this would have to be handled in a support ticket that includes the details. It is not adviceable to conduct such matters in a publically accessible venue, since they might require details that third parties can use against you.
  7. Nothing is gained through arguing about that. This is the post of yours I am referring to: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1736368#post1736368
  8. There is an account with them. What we cannot check with them is your account, which is what you asked for us to do previously. As you can see in bumfire's post previously, the problem is real; he was not charged. If, in your case, you were charged, then this will be investigated in due course, but it cannot be handled on the forum.
  9. Thanks bumfire.
  10. Greetings Ratfink. Please accept our apoligies for the perceived tone. As you know, very few of ED staff have English as a native language since it is a Russian company. This perception was not intended. I have talked to the system administrator, and the time period will most likely be extended, since reports from you - our customers - both here and in the ticket queue indicate that something else is going on here than what our original information indicated. We are in active communication with our payment processing service to find this out. But of course, whatever happens, you should all get what you paid for, one way or another, or at least your money back. As soon as there is more information, either myself or someone else will make sure this information is brought to you.
  11. bumfire, we are still in the process of conducting additional checks due to these reports. If there is any error, a refund will be issued. But as mentioned, this is best handled in the customer support system, since it is impossible to track transactions from forum accounts, but the support system does have the necessary links.
  12. Don't worry f3n3k, we will make this right.
  13. Part of me wants to take this as a compliment... :)
  14. Thankyou Alicatt. The tech people are looking into these aspects and we are in communication with our payment processors about this. We might extend the period mentioned in the e-mail. Please do accept our apologies for this problem. What I can say is that we did not receive the funds, and we will find a way to make everything right.
  15. Sorry, I was confused when you stated that "my bank and paypal was debited". We will handle this in the ticket. Unfortunately there are very many such tickets.
  16. f3n3k, I understand that you are upset, but no-one has called you a liar. Please do not use such speech or I will have to lock this thread. This issue cannot be handled here anyway, you need to file a support ticket. If you have already done so, it will be handled.
  17. Unfortunately, it would be illegal for Paypal to give us information about your account. Similarly, if Paypal acts as payment broker against your bank debit or credit account, they can't know this either. Only your bank will know. And your bank will only talk about your account with you, not with us nor Paypal. That is the unfortunate truth. We are very sorry for the inconvenience, but if either Paypal or your Bank gave us this information, both they and us would be liable for criminal prosecution.
  18. You can ask your bank directly. Only they can confirm this delay. If there is a double transaction you would of course get a refund.
  19. Yes, unfortunately this is for real. We are very distraught over this issue.
  20. Please note the following quote in the mail: "The money was NOT debited from your PayPal account. The was only a hold placed on the amount during the transaction, which was unsuccessful. The money will be unblocked after a time period set by your bank." This is called a "reservation" in banking lingo. The money is still on your account, but it is not disposable, since it was "reserved" at the start of the transaction. However, since the transaction did not complete properly, the reservation was never turned into a debit. However, if you look in an account statement online etcetera this can very easily look the same as a debit, because the money is not disposable. The banks have an automatic system that cancels reservations that are never acted upon. If you call your bank, they will be able to confirm this status and time period. We are of course very sorry for this confusion. This is, as mentioned, a technical factor in how transactions work.
  21. Demongornot, 32 vs 64 bit isn't mainly about "performance". It's about adressable memory size. Whether a program will benefit depends entirely on what the program does and, most specifically, the amount of data it has to handle. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adress_space
  22. Oh, come on Dmitry, let's go for 69-bit! :D HiJack, you don't seem to quite understand what the "bits" mean. What exactly do you mean by "more" 64-bit code?
  23. Greetings. You can enter a support ticket, which will allow the serial numbers to be looked at.
  24. As far as reality goes, however, skid-equipped helos will perform hover-taxi and execute both landing and takeoff on the runway. This is necessary to deconflict with fixed-wing traffic.
