Hi, using the rift and the Mfcd screen using the Maverick is waaaay to dark, I've tried adjusting all the gains and the boat switch, all to no avail the Missile still locks and works as it should. If I remember when I first used the rift it worked as it should. Any ideas appreciated. I have searched :smilewink:

Had a little play earlier, Launch the Nevada tgt practice and eject near one of the tgt groups and before you eject task your wingman to attack the targets. walk over to one of the vehicles and watch in awe as your wingman destroys all the targets, immersion in VR is cracking and the level of detail is amazing especially on the gun run that destroyed the artillery that I was stood next to :) use the F1 and F2 keys to follow the action. wishing I had a trench to dive into. :) I setup voiceattack tonight, no more blind man fumbling for the f. comms keys. :thumbup: a must have.

I've tried everything and before every flight I use the right ctrl, shift and numpad / to slide back a bit. takes a couple of seconds.

Lol over 30 years ago I can't remember very good simulation though the sim is harder to fly than the real thing. :)

Hi Cold starting and after getting the rotor up to full speed after a short time I hear a thump and the rotor speed drops back down. Searched but not finding an answer. Flew this bird with the Army Air Core in the mid 80s and so all a good revision :) Forgot to mention I am using the Hotas Warthog.

I've read everything that I can find to get over it and I understand about Ralt and Num0 to save the position, I have changed to old the View.lua file and yet every time I start the cockpit view camera is toooo far forward, anyone else having this issue. Both in 1.5 and 2. Flying the piercing fury campaign, jeez is it good rescuing the aussie SAS over the city is just amazing :) seriously awesome in VR.

i'm over the moon with mine and will never fly the sim 2d again. I've re-learnt the sim in VR with no issues and combined with the hotas the only time I have had to pop the headset up is to write the Jtac numbers but even now I have got around that by typing them into the cdu as soon as they pop onto the screen. The other Oculus games are amazing and lets not even mention the Porn :)

Really can't understand any negative comments, the experience is amazing. If anyone in the UK wants to pop to Falmouth to try it then you would be welcome.

Just got back into DCS after a few years out and have the Hotas remembered, just flown the first mission Csar and omg I came off there sweating, it is so intense flying amongst the steep hills and avoiding the air defences. You have to try the Oculus it is unbelievable and so realistic, got shot down by a Zsu and tensed up like f#$@ just as I hit the mountain and not quick enough to eject. Next best thing to actually flying the beast in real life. You won't be disappointed. :):)

Hi, the graphic quality on Nevada in the A10c, I'm finding isn't very good, the terrain and cockpit appear washed out also the sound quality isn't great, I'm using the same settings as the other map which is working well. anyone else have the same issue ? any opinions will be appreciated.:) Just flown it again and iits hard to describe but its as if there is a lack of colour, like having a bright sun washing it all.

I have had a break from DCS for many years, treated myself to an Oculus and was reluctant due to the views on the forum stating poor resolution etc, OMG don't listen to any of it, VR is awesome, to be able to sit inside the Aircraft is simply unbelievable and hard to put into words, the situational awareness is cracking. If u live near me and want to try it then pop over ( Cornwall UK ) :):):):):thumbup:

Hi getting back into the flying after a long break and loving the oculus VR, having problems at the start of every mission the activation screen comes up and then it says to authorise then next screen it says it has been activated etc do I want to carry on, it does this with AC10, gazelle and huey at the start of every mission change. I have searched. :)

Awesome experience, hopefully one day all the different types of sim will be integrated, a10c, black shark, carrier ops and ARMA imagine some CAS for infantry, lots of type 1s :D:D:D

Still looking for that perfect pit before I splash the cash and now Loz has thrown a spanner in the works with his great work, lol :joystick: Thanks loz 4 the photos, very helpful Perhaps in the short term a large LCD monitor with the smaller touchscreen positioned below, I could probably run that on a single gtx260. I've seen lots of forum users using twin iPads and separate small USB screens to display the MFDs / cockpit. The Loz setup with the price of a single touchscreen is perfect and, less complicated and seems the way to go when creating a pit, does anyone disagree? All opinions appreciated :)
