Hi, Dcs 2.5 Beta in VR with the rift. Getting 45fps but will drop to mid 20s, tried all settings and read everything. On the windows resource monitor the only thing that is peaking is the 3D on the graphics card which coincides with the lag. Not sure what that means ???? Everything else, cpu, memory, gpu memory is low and normal. Usually get 90fps in the other versions, is this just the Beta ? bit worried about 2.5 release. I have a decent rig so there must be a setting somewhere that i am missing ? Tried all options in the game, also deleted my Beta saved game folder to start again. Win 10 pro, water cooled i7 7700 @4.2 ghz, 32gb fast ram, Asus strix MB, GTX 1080.

Hi all, Can any Rift users share tneir VR settings for 2.5,. I've cleared my Options Lua file and started again and have gone back to Jabbers settings. I know it is machine dependant, but good to know what you have found that improves the frame rate etc.

Hi I have 2.2 on ssd and 1.58 release and beta on a hdd, will i be able to specify the 1.58 to 2.5 location, i.e. change from hdd to ssd.

Mine ran better when I went to higher settings as per Jabbers video ( see above), start highest settings and work backwards.

My Rift came with two sensors.

I run the oculus software in administration mode so it doesn't auto start and go straight to DCS and it works fine.

mine wasn't working in version 2 the other day either, had to quickly manual lase.

When I am flying with the warthog hotas and voiceattack, I reach forward to use the mouse for quick cockpit button clicking, i can't see how it is going to work reaching forward and picking up the rift controller.

Same here, the A10c will always be my baby, looking forward to the F14 or F18 to see which one is the most realistic. Been impressed with the Harrier it really is similar to a Warthog without the stalling issues, you can really throw the harrier around, the module really is worth the purchase The real difference in discovering the flight sim again is with the rift in VR, that has blown me away, VR is awesome.

it is the instant action aircraft that I couldn't get to work as I had changed the weapons, when I created a fast mission it is working as it should. Thanks for the help.

Its never worked for me, on vipers mission the TV screen doesn't pop up unless you select the DMT osb but as soon as I select the sensor button aft or down the TV screen pops up and I cant select the EHSD compass rose screen. Unless its something I am not selecting on the startup. I will jump back into vipers and look at all the control selections. Never recorded a track before lol.

Thanks appreciated, no issues changing the laser code, I've downloaded vipers 1.5 training mission and the air start for lgb works as it should, but when I ramp start and rearm with gbu12 with or without the litning pod it still doesn't work, obviously missing something when setting the harrier up.

Hi Hi JTac are lasing when I sensor select down the tv screen pops up changing it to LST and it never finds the laser, on the video tutorials they use the screen with the compass rose on it i.e. the EHSD screen and they get the lock etc how can I get the EHSD screen to show. any help for an idiot is appreciated. :joystick:

updated 1.5 to 1.58 Possible missing the vertical line in ccip and auto for dumb and guided bombs, can someone else have a look, am I missing a setting or a bug.

Hi updated 1.5 today to 1.58 and I seem to have lost the vertical line in ccip and in auto, both in Dumb and guided bombs, cross hair is still there in ccip. Anything i'm missing or a bug ?

Hi, I've been having issues tuning the radios for the ATC in nttr, for instance they were listed as: one of the Nevada bases 38.6 118 250.05 3.85 which radio do I use ? thanks for any help. :)

Watch Jabbers videos, cold start then the basic vtol etc, then do some reading.

Impressed with that turn around, mostly 90 fps

+1 Would be great to have a YouTube video up in the corner, just been learning the Harrier cold start, helmet on, helmet off, helmet..... luckily it is easy to start.
