I got weapons to load finally. Ground crew says ground power connected but when I push up ground power to A or B. Nothing happens. What do the A and B switches mean?

Nothing works. No chocks or anything. I selected the create fast mission. Nothing responds

I’ve tried the ground power switches and nothing happens. Also when I choose the re arm and select ordinance nothing happens

I read through chuck's manual for the hornet. I am trying to turn on my lights and DDI's etc with ground power but there is no option. With regular aircraft ground power lets you set everything up like flight plans, lights etc. Can start APU when ready that way the battery isn't being wasted but I don't seem to have that function in the hornet. I started the APU and got the green light. Still unable to turn on instrument panel lights etc. I wouldn't think I would have to start engines for everything like that to work. that would be a waste of gas. Wouldn't the ground power take care of that? The manual shows the normal start without ground power.

SA Is the datalink and SA primarily for multiplayer?

I am wondering if anybody has any favorite weapon loads. For example an A/A dogfight with possible SAMS. I know the harm is best for finding and destroying. Not sure if there are any others. I was wanting to do a mission with bomb runs, dogfights and probably have to destroy SAMS.

I purchased a gtx 1070 video card but that is all so far because I don’t know what mobo, cpu or ram to get. I was going to get the ryzen 7 2700x but I only play to games on my computer. FSX and DCS. DCS is apparently single thread and I’m not sure what FSX is but do I need that big of a processor? Do I need a top of the line motherboard? What ram do I choose? I have been searching for a week or so now watching YouTube videos and reviews all over the web. It’s pretty much just a daily PC and to use for DCS and FSX. Suggestions?

I bought the ryzen 2700x but looking for a good motherboard. I’ve heard the X470 chips are the best but don’t know my options. I don’t know anything about overclocking. I’ve heard asus rog X470-F and gigabyte gaming 7 but so many options to choose from. I use 6 sun ports on my current desktop. I bought the gtx 1070. Any suggestions on favorite motherboard? Amazon and Newegg show a lot of 4 stars. Of course no motherboard is perfect but I need suggestions.

I keep hearing about stability problems with the ryzen series with RAM and bios updates all the time because of bugs and problems. Is it better just to go for an intel since it’s been around for a lot longer or still go with ryzen? I don’t want to have to fuss around just use out of the box stock. I’m not comfortable overclocking since I have no idea and afraid of overheating. I already bought a EVGA gtx 1070 so not worried about integrated graphics. Such a hard decision.

I am looking at getting 3200 MHz ram for my MSI B450 gaming pro carbon with ryzen 2600 processor. Is there much difference if I get 2400 vs 3200mhz to pay more?

I don’t see any intel 8600k bundles just the processor. Trying to decide if I want gtx 1060 or 1070. Just way too many things to figure out.

Would it be cheaper to buy the processor and then mobo separately. That’s just the bundle amazon offered

Looking around 500-575 for everything. I found a gtx 1070 founders edition on eBay for around 270 and looked at a ryzen 2600 with MSI X470 gaming plus on amazon for 294

Right now my computer is completely dead. I need to replace everything. Time is not on my side. With a limited budget I’m limited. I need a new motherboard, processor and video card. I’ve got 16gb ram in my current so I could just take that I’m hoping and put in a new mobo hopefully

What would be a budget friendly video card to have middle end system in DCS?

Here are my computer specs. Any input in what would be good settings in game and in Radeon control center? I get a fairly smooth frame rate external view but not so great in cockpit. I use track IR 5 as well. I can have like 10 ground units and 5 planes and have multiple freezes so by the time it unfreezes I have already been shot down. I am new to combat simulators. When AWACS tells me bra 085 for 110 but heading is something else, should I fly to the heading to engage or the bearing on my HUD?

I am trying to figure out how do put targets either ground or air in the F10 map. I know it’s usually it’s done in the mission editor but in the Through the inferno mission it says to use the radio button in the F10 map. I have looked for a radio tab but I don’t see anything. Am I missing something?

That’s what I did. Unzipped it then dragged it over into the mission folder. It has the .miz extension at the end.
