I am try to arm my MAVF but I get an X through it. I have A/G selected and master arm on. I never get the countdown for the MAVF to be ready. Am I missing something or any thoughts? Because the MAV isn’t ready, I can’t slew the maverick on the HUD. I also have the correct DDI sensor selected. I double clicked on MAVF so I get the screen with the crosshairs.

Can anyone help me figure out how to compensate for wind when dropping bomb for accuracy,if possible in DCS.?

How do I do a track?

For some reason I try and line up my line with piper to the long bomb fall line and the long line keeps drifting so I have to chase it causing the bomb to not drop. I tried with GBU and mk bombs. Any ideas? I even went on autopilot. I tried once and every time I’d turn in to get line it up the line with piper was always several degrees off to the side. The target was set as my SPI with my TGP so I’m just frustrated. I was trying the weapons training under Nellis. I even lined up for a gun run and it never hit anything. Only way I was able to destroy was with my Mavericks.

Some have been the quick missions that are generated. I’ve tried my own too. Never works. I’ve even set my own mapping for ground hostile and other ground targets.

I have tried every F- function including the Shift or Ctrl and even looked at mapping in the controls and I can only ever see aircraft but NEVER cycle through ground targets. Even in my own missions still can’t. I’m getting really frustrated. Can someone help me?!

I agree. I have actually been to all those places when I worked on the flight deck so it would be cool to see how DCS creates them.

All that was done. I can sled temporarily and then it locks onto something near a target but can’t sleep from that point.

I read there will be plenty of places to view like PLAT..etc. it mentions in VR but do I have to have like a VR system to view or can I just move the camera to move through ship?

How come I can skew in the TGP but once I get a lock and fire I can longer slew? I had a target,fired and then automatically moved and put an a large X, so it found something but I can’t slew. It gets near the target but it’s not on the actual target so I need to be able to slew onto the target.

No it’s just us infantry saying there are enemy troops to the East. Then I fly over and they say the see me and shoot green flares. It’s very hard. The labels are on so trying to hit them hard.

How do I go about taking out infantry with the A-10? I’m trying the first mission CSAR and there are paratroopers trying to reach a downed F16 pilot. I don’t know how to target them. I was trying to find on TGP but I couldn’t see anything. I’ve done all the tutorial lessons through DCS. I’m trying to figure out. I also was trying to do a bomb and there was a circle with sn with an x through it.

Has anybody made a mapping diagram for the F14 on the X-55? I’ve seen lots of real good ones for the hornet and hog. I didn’t know if anybody has done one for the tomcat yet.

I am still running DCS World OpenBeta. Should I be using something else?

Has anybody done a mapping of the X55 rhino for the Tomcat. I have seen one for the Hornet but nothing for the Tomcat.

Have you flown the mission yet? Everywhere planes pop up it’s in the dead center of the SAMS.

I went into mission editor and clicked on the unit there was no option for smoke. Am I missing something?

I was about an hour away. I only used afterburners on take off and a few times trying to avoid stingers.

I have to turn back to base to refuel. Tanker know where near me.

I don’t have enough fuel unless I’m suppose to stay on deck until they launch and start taking out sites

Here is the first mission. I have no idea how am suppose to evade the SAM sites. As you can see there are air defenses all over the place and the waypoints take me through all of them. I don't know how I would get around them anyways with fuel consumption. The tanker is all the way down Southeast of map. It is 120 nm from the carrier.

I can only carry 4. The missions have them posted all over. Mission editor shows red circles all over the place. Some overlapping so I’d be in range of the other as well.
