Is there a button to dispense the flares/chaffs?

Unlike the F18 I can see from my HUD I can see a dotted line showing me missile direction etc. I don't have the in the Tomcat

I am trying to figure out how to use countermeasures as the pilot. I see Jester has a countermeasures option for defensive etc but I didn't see anything happen. It is kind of hard to select the different options and try to fly the plane at the same time. I had a SAM launch and within a minute I was blown out of the sky. Jester just said break right and as soon as I did, KABOOM! Any suggestions?

I have tried doing missions myself in my mission editor and still don't see anything. I am glad but frustrated that I am not the only person having this struggle. I never see any labels and I never can see the aircraft unlike in the training mission I have a visible object.

I am having a heck of a time finding air targets. Jester keeps saying nails and even told me the aircraft was at 12 o clock but I didn't see anything. I had SW armed and the tone seemed to had picked up something but never found anything. What am I doing wrong? I have labels turned on as well but not seeing anything red in the air. I am flying the first mission.

I have tried moving wing sweep to auto, manual and pulled the sweep lever all the way back and the wings just stay full so the aircraft just wants to stall. I tried again to change the sweep and EMERG is on the display.

Yes I did. I want to put smoke then on the static but I don’t see that option. Otherwise trying to find the static is like finding a need in a hay stack

also when I check ground units view nothing ever shows up, just my aircraft

How do I read the airspeed indicator. I see the knots in 10 intervals but it soon spins around into the mach section so I don't know how fast I am going unless I look at the display at the bottom showing Ground Speed and Air Speed. I can't land well because I don't know my speed. I also have tried making turns and seem to throw her into a flatspin that I can't recover. The aircraft shakes.

I spent hours in the training for dropping unguided bombs. I placed the piper over the target at about a -20 dive and when I release, the bomb explodes my plane. Other times at -15 I line up the the piper on the target and once the piper is over the target and I release, it never hits the target. It is way off. Can anybody help?

I created a short mission with several enemy tanks. For some reason even if I toggle all labels, nothing shows up so I don't know where the targets are.

I don’t use saitek software. Just program in DCS but if I needed things from mode 1 while I’m in mode 2 that would be confusing.

Can I be a gunner instead of a pilot in single mode?

I am looking at pre made profiles for DCS. I have the X55 Rhino system. My question is how do the different modes work on the throttle? For instance, I’m going to assume the M1,M2 and M3 are the different modes. I’d have to turn the notch on the bottom to switch but if I switched to a different mode then the previous wouldn’t work until switching back. Can someone help me?

How to I take clear pucture without the bar on the bottom with position etc? The pictures look blurry when pressing them PrntScr button while flying.

I have my X55 Rhino setup for F-18 but does anyone have a profile for the F14?

I did a fresh install.

I was able to update after a fresh install. The f14 was then there but when I typed DCS in windows search it showed DCS and Repair DCS. no update.

I open OB 2.5.4.28090 and nothing is there for the F14
