Hi, My VR video is jumpy when moving my head, impossible to play now as I can't read instruments unless I keep my head still. I have not had this problem before but now do and I I can't seem to fix it, I have a "jumpy" view when I turn my head in VR and did not previously. System specs below: I7-9700 32G RAM RTX 3090TI Valve Index Running 120hz on both Steam and DCS so they match with motion smoothing, nothing improves if I change video resolution or refresh rates. Any suggestions? Also, my eyesight is getting worse and need reading glasses, having a hard time reading the HUD, can't seem to zoom HUD, any suggestions for reading HUD better? Thanks!

Thanks for the help! Got the HMD working again now but the missions don't copy over to the A10CII, they come up as A10C only even in the A10CII menu once playing them...unless I'm doing something wrong?

Hi, Its been almost a year since using DCS A10CII and I'm struggling getting back to re-learning the commands. Couple things driving me crazy if anyone can help: There are no missions in DCS for the A10CII, I thought there were before (only instant action now). Did they get removed in updates or can I get pre-designed missions somewhere and load into DCS? I cant get the helmet targeting management system (HMD) sensor of interest, I'm using the coolie switch up but doesn't work, did this change? Any suggestions? I can get the HUD or TGP sensor of interest no problem with the DMS but can't seem to get the HMD sensor of interest?? Thanks!!

Hi, I currently use a 2080TI GPU and performance is not great in VR, has anyone compared the newer 3XXX series cards for improvement assuming all other computer specs are the same? I searched for this topic but couldn't find anything, I'm guessing there must be some discussion on it? thanks!

Well, seems I'm getting the GBU-54s to work but still having problems homing the AGM-65L on the second load-out? Probably operator error but can't figure it out? 1st load out works fine?

Hi, Love the A10C II, just trying to get used to the helmet cuing system but so far seems more efficient if I can remember all the TMS/DMS commands! I also use the unlimited ammo option so I can bomb the crap out of everything without having to go back and re-arm, however, I have noticed that once I use the initial load out with laser guided success (GBU-54/AGM-65L), the new load out from the weapons gods does not respond to the laser being fired at the target?? The weapons deploys but does not track target?? Is this an issue/bug or am I missing a step when the new weapons appear out of thin air on my racks? Upload or something? I do not notice this issue with the laser guided rockets...

OK, so I can't see the A10 C II in the mission editor and deselected the wrist watch (in which I saw the date of 2011 go away) - but how do I select a new date date? The "type" for plane type is greyed out so I can't change it? I assume we can use the A10 C II for the preloaded missions of the A10 C?

Ok, so not to be a pain but still not sure how to MOVE an installed file from C drive to E drive, I assume by MOVE you mean uninstall DCS world on C and reinstall on E? Unless I can simply cut/paste the directory to E drive and it will work fine? I'm under the impression the software is now in the registry under C drive. Am I missing something here?

Now I'm confused. Yes, I have a short cut but changing the path directory to E will not find the installed files on C C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta" I want all new modules installed on E - not sure what changing the shortcut file to E will do for me other not finding the program?

Hi, I have DCS installed on my M2 C drive that is now getting full, I assume if I add more modules/campaigns/planes to DCS will they automatically install under the C drive? I just installed new M2 drive in E:, should I uninstall everything and reinstall on the E where I now have 1 TB free? Thanks!

Hi, I just updated to 2.5.6 OB and now my DCS will not load? I tried a repair with the utility but did not work, it just sits on the "DCS World" screen and hangs, any suggestions? Thanks!

I was getting a solid 45 FPS with my Index the last couple weeks and now with same settings everything is down to 30 FPS or less - its just not playable in VR anymore. I have a decent machine I7-9700 OC 4.5, RTX 2080Ti OC, 32 GB but DCS just is not performing in VR. Steam VR is still on 1.6.10 My settings are 100% resolution in Steam, PD of 1.3 in DCS, MSAA 2X, high on most other settings. I have tried changing settings to PD of 1.0 and 150% in Steam but still poor FPS. Not sure why suddenly DCS is a dog in VR?

+1 I just got the Valve Index and was using the Rift S, frame rates with the Rift S were 50-90 depending on the mission. With the Valve at all the same setting conditions I'm locked at 30 FPS, not sure whats going on. I dropped the Index down to 90Hz but did not see an impact, this is not good enough for VR. Not sure why the Rift S was much better at FPS with all settings the same. I have a decent computer, 32GB, 2080 TI, I7-9700 and the frame rates suck... Is this a DCS issue with the Index?

Hi, I uninstalled DCS and reinstalled the Open Beta version but now Tacview does not show up in DCS anymore and files are not automatically saved in Tacview folder for viewing. Do I need to re-install Tacview or how do I associate Tacview back in DCS open beta?

I checked the Oculus debug tool and the A syncronous warping is disabled so not sure... I would think with a 2080Ti OC and a I7 9700 OC with medium settings I could hit 80 FPS in VR? But maybe not, waiting on updated VR maps... Upon further investigation if I look at the sky FPS goes to 80 and looking at ground it drops to 40 FPS

Hi guys, New to VR and have been trying to set-up my options for VR to run well. I have a newer I7-9700, RTX-2080Ti, 32GB ram, Rift S so should be good on hardware. I dialed back my graphics a bit to mostly medium levels, flat shadows and VR seems to run smooth which is nice, pixel density @ 1.3, 2X MSAA, 2X ansotropic. My FPS never change from 40 FPS no matter what I change my settings to, even after changing my GPU from a 2070 to 2080Ti?? Seems like a bug on the FPS meter? Do you use the hand controllers to manipulate cockpit controls? I have been using the cross hairs and mouse button but I find the cross hairs are hard to keep in front view? Between missions my VR referance point changes, sometimes closer or father back in the cockpit, is there a way to re-set view while in the game? Otherwise I have to quit and set-up head-set through the Oculus program. Any suggestions?

Yes it did, my open beta used 100 GB which included all the modules. I decided to uninstall both versions and now only have the open beta installed on my C drive for use. New question, I'm trying to use Skatezilla's GUI utility but it can not find a DCS installation??

hummm....how do you "switch" between the two if you only have one version on your PC locally? Does it download only the needed files when you "switch" between versions?

Hi Guys, couple questions.... I have DCS stable version installed on my C drive, I just installed Open Beta on my D drive and it used 100 GB of space!! That's a lot of space, are there any files that can be deleted or cleaned up to get back disk space? I noticed it copied a lot of files from my C drive copy of DCS. How long does it take for 2.5.5 beta to make its way into the stable version? Trying to decide to keep the Open Beta or remove for more disk space? Or, should I just remove the stable version from my C drive and only use the Open Beta version? I'm looking for best practices to help on used disk space, between the C and D drive installations I'm using like 150 GB of space!!
