Looking forward to this, especially after how much I enjoyed your A10 campaign. Any updates on when this might get released? I also saw that the Syria map is getting additional items added to the east, hopefully soon! Will the timing of that be a factor on when you release your campaign?

Good day, just finished mission 14. The low cloud deck spawned right over the mission objective so I had to fly 1000-1500 ft over the ground level to spot targets and destroy them. Seems like it wasn’t intended for this as Davy told me to use an lgb at one point. With the clouds spawning randomly at this point you may want to raise the base cloud layer. After the mission objective was complete Davy told me to form up on him but he was already landing 25 miles away. Also I landed with the wind so was landing at about 155 ground speed on 29R, should have been landing into the wind at 11L. Loved the mission and campaign so far, just wanted to give feedback to help.

Hi ChillNG, did the updates for cloud altitudes in mission 6 and 11 get updated in today’s patch? I didn’t see anything in the patch notes?

On the atc violation are you sure you are taxing to the correct runway ramp? In the video above I believe the pilot went to the final ramp at the end of the runway. I believe when you taxi to the runway on the right that the atc directs you to the second to last ramp to take off. It’s the one that is angled 45 degrees to the runway.

It was the A10c II. Just played mission 5 and ai kept up. Great mission!

Enjoying the campaign so far. I’m only 4 missions in and have a couple things to report back. On the 2nd and third mission either the clouds need to be moved to a higher altitude or the flight plan needs to be moved to a lower altitude. The radio chatter talks about seeing explosions on an Iranian ship in one mission and the other one has explosions around the base you intend to land at and you can’t see the explosions due to cloud altitude. Also in mission 4 my wingman was close to useless. He won’t keep up with me in transit to the objective and at one point I told him to hold position while I attacked and he just left. I also had to restart the mission with guided rockets to have a chance at getting the speed boats. Also could a wingman command be added to help you attack the speedboats? Finding the boats was most difficult, can a predator drone use an IR pointer so you could locate them faster with your night vision goggles on? Just an idea. This is really a high quality campaign and really appreciate the work put into it and hope you make more campaigns as I will happily purchase them!

I can get the sub with the slam now. Just took multiple tries and timing it exactly right. The ammo depot is another story, completely unable to slip a slam in there due to AAA. Forget about getting close with guns. I ended up completing the mission with lgbs from 30ft.

I currently cannot get the slam to fly a low flight profile and they always come in high and get shot by AAA. Anyone know a way to do this mission successfully with the slam?

Anyone know how many missions there are in the new rising squall campaign? The description in the store does not list it currently.

The white dot airplanes seems realistic but seeing white ground units makes spotting them unrealistic.

I did some air to ground guns today on the instant action ground attack practice in Syria. The rounds are hitting way high for me in ccip. I turned off the radar to see if there was some issue with that and it didn’t help. I then went into the guns and rockets qualification in Caucasus and it worked perfectly. Anyone else having this issue? Is it me or is it something to do with the Syria map?

I have the edge 540 so that has got to be it.

Anyone else having issues using the encyclopedia on the menu screen? It won’t go beyond the loading screen for me. Just sits there loading...

Related to this when you tell the wingmen to engage with rockets, they won’t comply. You have to tell them to engage with missiles, which is problematic if they still have Mavericks and you don’t want them to waste a maverick on a soft target. It would be good if either there was a new command to engage with laser rockets, or if they could just engage with the use rockets command.

This thread got moved out of the bug section. Is this not a bug? What is the intended function of this Hotas command because I don’t see that it actually does anything at this time? Thank you!

Another happy customer here. I bought the deltasim slew upgrade and my only regret is not buying it earlier. I can’t believe how big of a difference it makes with slewing the tpods and mav screens. From very slow moves to bigger faster moves across the screen it does it all depending on how far you move the slew stick. Installation was easy, just don’t rush it and take your time and read the instructions and follow them precisely to avoid issues.

I just did the first three missions today in the A10c II. No issues at all and switched out the gbu 12s for 54’s and added some laser rockets for fun. Everything worked fine except the preset radio channels weren’t set up so I just manually changed the frequencies. No big deal to do that and lots of fun and very useful to have the hmcs. Great missions by the way! Look forward to mission 4 tomorrow and whatever comes after that down the road.

Ok, this may seem overly simple but I just realized that my screen height on my desk was ergonomically set up for typing, not for flight sims. The top of the screen lined up with my forehead. What I ended up doing is putting a couple of big books under my monitor stand to make the center of my screen line up with my eyes. Makes a big difference on lining up the HMCS. When my wife gets home I know I am going to get laughed at as having the monitor so high looks weird but I am really liking how my head angles with looking around the cockpit aren’t off.

I am a track IR user and all of the HMCS views for A10c, f18, f16 are lower than I would like them on my screen. I have to look down my nose so to speak in order to look at the center of the HMCS cross. I would like a menu option to be able to adjust the HMCS info up or down.

Also make sure your air brakes are closed. The gun pac won’t work with them open.
