As per the VR bug report instructions the relevant files are attached. My NVCP settings are all default. This only occurs when ASW is on, in the track file I forced ASW on by pressing right ctrl and numpad 3 I can solve the problem by using turbo mode in the open xr toolkit I've always had this problem in MT, it doesn't occur in ST DxDiag.txt VR Stutter.trk

I also have stuttering when using MT but it only happens when ASW (motion smoothing) is active. It's smooth when using ST

Quest Pro stutters on MT when ASW is active

Is ASW smooth for you with turbo mode off? -

Thanks for the reply. Do you get stuttering in the non multi thread version of DCS? -
Quest Pro stutters on MT when ASW is active

So just to clarify, are other people getting stuttering in MT when ASW/SSW is active? If it's a bug hopefully ED can fix it because it looks like we might not be able to rely on open xr toolkit anymore -
I was wondering if anyone else is suffering from small stutters on the MT version of DCS when ASW is active (or SSW when using VD). The problem is solved by turning on turbo mode in open XR toolkit. It doesn't occur on the ST version of DCS. It isn't a problem at the moment because my Quest Pro works with the toolkit but it's been reported that the latest Meta beta update to the Quest Pro is causing DCS to crash when the toolkit is running. Ideally it'd be nice not to have to rely on open xr toolkit to get DCS to run smoothly because I doubt Meta will fix the current problem with their latest beta update

Is it worth having winter textures on this map? I thought it didn't really snow much there. Isn't it just 9°C and windy all year round?

I get frequent stuttering of scenery when ASW/motion smoothing is on. This only occurs in the multi thread version of DCS and has always occured. I'm able to stop it by using turbo mode in openxr tool kit but this doesn't seem to be a long term solution as I believe the toolkit is no longer being maintained. I'm using a meta quest pro with a link cable

fixed Latest Oculus v63 PTC build crashing DCS when used on Oculus Link
Flyingfish replied to SrSosio's topic in VR Bugs
I have V63 in both the headset and the desktop app and it was working fine. I then upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11 and it stopped working so I reverted back to windows 10 and it works again. Might be useful to anyone who is on windows 11 but can't get DCS to work with V63, hopefully not too long to go till the update though -
I've also noticed this

fixed Latest Oculus v63 PTC build crashing DCS when used on Oculus Link

Where do I need to add force_oculus_VR? I'm using DCS with steam -
I've noticed that when launching the game from steam there is now a option- Launch MT preview in oculus VR mode- I've tried this option but it still seems to be using open XR. Is that what it's supposed to do?

Quest Pro oculus link versus virtual desktop

That sounds very interesting. I didn't know it was possible -
Quest Pro, audio cuts out intermittently.

Just encode bitrate set to 350. Now the audio stutters seem to be fixed I might increase it to 500. I used to get the audio problems even with everything set to default so this update has made a big difference to me. Obviously this may all change with the next update... -

My Quest pro has recently updated to PTCv60 and the audio stutters I have been experiencing using wired link seem to have completely gone. -
I'm getting quite bad stuttering in MT on both 2.8 and 2.9. The problem has started in the last 2 weeks, it used to be smooth in MT on 2.8 but isn't anymore, it's never been smooth on 2.9. I'm getting 40fps (ASW) constantly with plenty of headroom for the GPU, using openxr toolkit with turbo on. I've reinstalled DCS and windows, DCS is installed on a m.2 drive NVIDIA settings are default, DCS settings don't affect the stutters Using Quest PRO with wired link DxDiag.txt dcs.log VR Stutter.trk

It sounds like it might be this https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Get-Help/ASW-is-completely-broken-and-creates-artefacts-that-prevents-me/m-p/997414#M174609 In which case there isn't a solution yet unfortunately

Using turbo mode in openxr toolkit made a big difference in reducing stutters for me. I think it'd definitely be worth trying that
-
Yeah, bitrate needs to be 0 for airlink. Good luck
-
I think if I remember correctly even with 500mb encoding I still had some audio stutter/stutters. I'll have to try it again. I've been getting bad stuttering with the link cable in 2.9 but didn't get it in 2.8. For some reason though it works very well with airlink so if you've got a good router it might be worth trying airlink and seeing if you still get the audio stutter/stutters

I've eradicated the problem by using airlink which doesn't really make sense to me. My cable works fine when I test it. Maybe there's something wrong with my motherboard? -
I also have this issue RTX 4090 5800x3d 32gb 3200mhz Installed on M.2 Quest pro

I've tried reinstalling the oculus software, performed a factory reset of the quest pro but it's not made any difference. I'm also getting a lot more stuttering than before. -

Has anyone found a solution to this? It's really bad for me on the 2.9 update
