was wondering if someone could look at this to see what I might be doing wrong. Trying to get a custum skinn added and this squadron name refuses to show up. I have the file in dcs saved game\dcs\liberation\Squadrons\ka-50 hokum directory. but just refuses to show. AGS50-Akula.yml

Anyone out there using this and managed to sett up a custum squadron? Tried using there directions and just doesnt seem to work.

I renamed it to temp so still have a bunch of stuff. attached file dcs.log

Decided to switch from steam to dcs stand alone. Erased steadm including save game file and when i boot it up just goes to black screen

I like track ir, even though still fiddling with it not to alway shift.

Anyone else think helmet sight is to low. I wish I could raise it so to speak its not on my centrenview but like lower centre

I am having a blast with dcs liberation, even when I die which is lot, I like to see what happens to evvery thing else. That being said, woulndt mind getting better, are the tutorial campaigns worth while? I have read a lot on how to fly and operate the thing on you tube but doesnt not much in the way of tactics and still learning things as well.

Dont have pedals and is wondering and not super familar with helicpoters. So between KA 50 and Hind which one would be easier to fly. I have a VKB gunfighter with the twist function though.

well the issue was, I am dumb, I was forgetting to tms forward short the tgp in order to track the area, I was just slaving it to a spi.

wait dont I want it on manual profile? just tried again and even renamed my profile to guarntee it stuck and same thing. and only choose the weapns by cycling through hud still the same thing. autolase2.trk

What am i doing to get this. Flaps are up. 15k altitude. No clouds. 8scd las time. Crp selected and auto lase. But i seem to always get this. And laser codes the same and laser on Included Track autolase.trk

I am trying to control the camera around external views. But for some reason its defaulting to being controlled by track ir. Anyway yo make it default to the mouse?

I feel stupid, aparently I accidently stuck a nearby and he was hitting me with a shell, but the after action report was reporting it as a crash instead of enemy fire. Thanks for the help and that nifty program

It seems that when I am trying to hover near the target area the chopper will just explode. There are no warning lights or sirens going off. Now the target is just an insurgent with an ak47, can they shoot because I dont see them shooting and more importantly the log says I have crashed not been shot down. Anyone have any idea what dumb thing I might be doing

I dont seem to have an option to switch axis? Plus it seems by second trigger is tied to the rudder. Think I definatly need another profile.

Downloaded an profile for black shark, but I have a feeling that the even though the profile is active its not picking it up in the DCS. As the throttle control doest control the throttle and the slider doesnt utilize the zoom. Does anyone have a nother profile I can try
