We just removed DCS from his computer and he is reinstalling right now. If that does not resolve I'll get his log file.

Brother has a machine that worked with his Reverb G2 before Microsoft dropped WMR. We since updated to latest version of Windows 11 and current Nvidia drivers. Installed Oasis and VR now works for other games. However, in VR we launch a mission (or instant action) in DCS and it hangs loading. Tried resetting DCS setting including deleting the saved games folder and starting from scratch. No change. Anyone else run into to and resolve? Ideas?

25 second black screen on quit to desktop. It seems the black screen on shut down is consistently shorter after I added bkg_load_signed_plugins = false to the autoexec.cfg. About 25 seconds now. Before that it would vary in time and sometimes be much longer. A consistent 25 second to shut down is acceptable for me. It just used to not do that. dcs.log

I tried the bkg_load_signed_plugins = false to no avail. Still ~30 second black screen on exit. For record I use Windows Defender for AV and have exclusions for everything DCS related.

Same for me. A black screen sits there for 30+ seconds before closing.

Anyone have command to revert the dedicated server? I used dcs_updater.exe update 2.9.15.9599@release and it installed the full version. Don't know what I did wrong but after reinstalling just the server I tried it again and it worked properly.

You can test by going into your profile page on the DCS web site. Open active servers and then my servers. If you don't see yours there no one else will either.

Did you confirm no other axes are mapped to the throttle control?

I did more testing and believe the problems I was having were due to the closeness of the planes in the enemy formations. If they are spread out more it works as advertised.

I've watched a few videos, read Chuck's Guide but cannot get additional air targets in a group auto selected (boxed instead of solid). Sometimes I can, most times not. From RWS I can go into STT by selecting an aircraft in a group. Then either short fwd or aft on AACQ. Doesn't matter which TWS mode. Only the primary is tracked. Sometimes I can manually select secondary and so on but sometimes not. Have cycled the auto (pb10) boxed and unboxed and once in a while it will track the other three aircraft in the group which I can then cycle through with the coolie. What am I doing wrong?

To all the tankers inclined to fly difficult patterns know this, I have guns.

I'm hoping for a sidewinder tone I can hear.

Thanks. I forgot I did have a couple of custom liveries. I removed those and tried it again a few times and so far no more hangs.
