As soon as Barthek finishes his update I'll be installing his mod. -

Thanks Sabre, looking forward to TAC20 so do you recommend holding off until the update? Gliptal, I'll happily share the Tacview report, but it's 117MB. As an aside, I'm using Vanilla textures. Thanks for your help on this! -

No, it is aimed at the target (Reticle and target visible in HUD) but then it drifted over and past the target. Just ran through it again and passed, but lock on with a 65H loadout only happened near to Min Range at about 2.1NM. -

No simple radios, tuned to 140 for Vaziani at startup. I'm getting closed gates but the D is very fickle about locking and it took me 3-4 runs to get it to lock, but then it misses anyway. -

TAC19 appears to have issues. The voiceovers on startup run into each other so the next one starts before the first one is finished. There's also a weird issue where my missiles appear useless. I line up the fourth set of targets as my wingmen are shot down or wounded, lock up AGM65s and fire but no hits. A Tacview replay shows the missiles impacting the ground way beyond the targets. -
Wales or France? :)

RIP. Too young.

It takes a while to get it right, but once you do you'll do it easily every time. No easy way around it, there's hours of practice needed to become competent, but the advice above should help greatly.

Got it. Expect an order :)

Aye, it's an easy one to work through; I used markpoints instead. Was just wondering was it to challenge the pilot. -

Finished TAC15 last night. Question in the spoiler box below. -
Thanks Sahaj. I pinged you a mail from your contact form asking this, but is the 10cm extension the one you would recommend for the A10C module (currently the only one I fly)?
-
Is there any risk of the extension (10cm) weakening the springs in the Warthog over time?

Sabre TLA's Maple Flag missions are well worth the money. For $5 each you get three campaigns that take you from the basics up to advanced levels. There's a separate thread here

Could have been. I did get a "watch your altitude message" westbound on Iris at 8400 feet so that could have been the reason. -

Passed TAC11 tonight (Q- which I think was because the Maverick hit but didn't kill the second target, so had to reengage with a GBU12) although I ignored the instructor message to call VUL as I was inbound on the final target. I'm pretty sure the JTAC explanation at random times was my fault. I'm not 100% sure when I switched to tactical channel in previous attempts, but the switch triggered the audio message on cue tonight. -
Unfortunately using alt+enter on a two screen setup (touchscreen with Helios) screws up the display :(

No easy comms. I'll try it again tonight and see where the trigger happens. Is it a total of 45 mins playtime from first checkin? Thanks for the help guys. -

Not sure the sarcasm is warranted Sabre :( On the last JTAC he checks in at 34:22. He then gets an instructor message at 46:48 telling him to end VUL which is only 11:26 after checkin. He hasn't destroyed the last target yet, but checks out. He then checks back in a few minutes later, drops a GBU12 and checks out accidentally before it hits. He then gets the egress message. Point is that he doesn't get the 15 minutes playtime and gets no failure messages. The update will fix the second but the first should be fixed as well. He makes checkin calls on the wrong channels prior to 34:22; could this be starting the timer? -

That video proves my point perfectly. The pilot checks out end of VUL as instructed and then doesn't know what to do and does't receive any instructions. He ends up checking back in with JTAC out of desperation and destroying the last target and then gets a triggered message. He also states (52.15 in the timeline) he failed the mission a few times as there are no instructions given, either in briefing or inflight, on what to do. -

Odd. I destroy all targets within the 15 minutes playtime for each JTAC but always get end of VUL even after that. Very frustrating after an hour+ flight. I've also noticed that the JTAC explanation messages are a bit random. I've flown this 3 times and the last time was the only one where it happened between WP1 and WP2. Previously it used to happen after the first JTAC engagement completed. Thanks for the input though.
