good job (as usual)
Viking 1-1 replied to AldousHuxley's topic in DCS: F/A-18C The Rampagers Campaign
Just finished the 2nd Mission (The raid) with 3h or more. It is just awesome! The dialogs are excellent and the missions are really fun and engaging. I'm not using any time acceleration and I enjoy every minute of this campaign. The added music together with the excellent lighting in the early morning hours gives the campaign a Triple-A feeling. Just unbelievable how much entertainment you get for those few bucks the campaign cost. Excellent work! -
Had the same issue yesterday. Push was called, plane rolled right.
-
I was just trying mission 2 where I was the flight lead for the first time. When my push was called, the waypoint did not change, it remained on the one for the holding pattern. Together with this I received the uncommanded roll to the right, like others mentioned I trimmed left and selected the wp myself, but my TOT was way off So do I need to select the next wp myself or did I miss a trigger zone? Edit I do remember that during my fence in checks the checklist got interrupted by a radio call. Could this have messed up a trigger?

In the SEAD game plan there is a Typo. We are flight Rocket, as mentioned before, but the game plan talks about Rattler 1 for the SA-2 attack. And maybe not a bug, but still confusing: The times for engine start, taxi and takeoff is in local time, TOT is on Zulu time. Don't know if this is intended, but during the read I thought "wait, what? are we going in at night?"

Is there a choice regarding bombing mode selection?
Viking 1-1 replied to Klunker's topic in F-4E Red Flag 81-2 Campaign
So I made it through the first mission. In the second attempt I have to admit, but I'm very happy with the outcome ... Except your "smokey Sam's". God knows I hate them already, and it is just M1!!! I used DT as my delivery mode and it worked just fine. As always, great work and a fantastic campaign! I know already that I will play this one several times together with the MiG Killers campaign. Please keep us fed with phantom stuff! -
Trust me when I say that Reflected Simulations Mig Killer campaign is excellent for learning A2A combat and tactics. Yes, it is SP but it is just awesome.

German airbases for the phantom in Phase 1?
Viking 1-1 replied to Viking 1-1's topic in DCS: Cold War Germany
Oh, nice. Never heard of this one before. Thanks! Just checked the map, then I guess I will use Baumholder as my training area. -
As the title says: Are there any german airbases that had the Phantom in phase 1? Mendig was a Helicopter base and Buchel was Tornado, if I'm not mistaking.

Mission 14 { PSBLE Spoiler }
Viking 1-1 replied to Palmtask's topic in F/A-18C Raven One: Dominant Fury campaign
Since the last update the CSAR mission is not triggering for me anymore Played the mission last week and all was fine, but I screwed up at the outpost and went down in flames Tried the mission today twice, and the Brits never get hit. -
Ugra Media. Enough said. Day One purchase.

Thank you! That´s what I thought. Really looking forward to this!

Hey Reflected, first off I am really a huge fan of your campaigns. They are just the best DCS has to offer. At least for me. And honestly HB should offer you a job since your campaigns make their modules shine. Just about to finish Mig Killers and really looking forward to the next campaign. Since Red Flag is more like a Operation and not like a training course will this campaign be like SaA and Mig Killers with different sections you can try over and over again or will it be one mission without any "go back and try again"?
-
No matter what you do, everything is brilliant. Just keep us fed with a steady flow on F4 campaigns.

Now you tell me... Now it is too late...
-
Oh what a teaser... I'm at work right now and all I want to know now is what is written there...
-
I know that Heatblur pays a lot of attention to detail. But what I saw today, really blew my mind: My motor for the seat adjustment overheated. You guys are really crazy. Thanks a lot for such a great module!

AGM-78 Standard ARM and Shrike B en DMAS varian?
Viking 1-1 replied to Werewolf_fs's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
Any news on this topic? -
I'm looking forward to this and can't wait! And I guarantee you: This will be the best selling module ED has ever made.

Still playable in 2025?
Viking 1-1 replied to Viking 1-1's topic in F/A-18C Operation Cerberus North Campaign
Very nice. Will give this a try then once I finished Arctic Thunder. Saw the Cerberus North 2 Trailer on YouTube and it looked very cool! -
Since we all know that updates tend to break campaigns I wonder if this campaign still works. Especially after introduction of the Taxi directors. I know BD and Reflected take very well care of their campaigns, but I never had one from Ground Pounder Sims. So is this campaign still working and worth a buy?

This, indeed, is a very good idea! -
F-35A Announcement discussion mega thread.
Viking 1-1 replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
It's funny how people already complain that this will not be properly done. Without anything seen right now, the whining is unbelievable. And yes, there are more blue jets than red jets. But DCS is a simulator, not a balanced multiplayer shooter. Deal with it. I'm looking forward to this one. Very welcome surprise ED delivered. At least for me.- 607 replies

F-35A Announcement discussion mega thread.
Viking 1-1 replied to LimePartician's topic in DCS: F-35A
This announcement took me by surprise. Well played, ED! I Am very curious how this will turn out -
Hey, just flew M10 today and I have to say this is maybe the best mission I have flown to this date in all campaigns. But at the end, when we are going for the tanker as soon as I get the message to go to the observer position Sluggo just climbs and heads straight for the carrier. The tanker remains on it's altitude, but since my lead never refueled the tanker is not responding... So no way to refuel for me. Luckily I had enough left and went for a straight in and trapped with 800 pounds of fuel ...
