  1. Chuck, you are a god. I would not have begun the steep learning curve without your manuals.
  2. Find the keybind for "VHF PTT". That did the trick for me
  3. Exactly ^^
  4. Thanks guys, I guess confirming the coordinates did the trick
  5. Okay I'll go triple check that
  6. I've verified correct alignment several times. Battery on, start engine, alignment to normal, and i didnt touch a thing until it finished, switched to NAV and continued with powering up the jet and still nothing.
  7. In that case, you need to split their formation. Either by using a wingman or make them go defensive by firing a missile
  8. What is your source? There are two people here with IRL knowledge on FLCS and quoting manuals saying you are wrong
  9. For the past five days, I've been flying several hours a day on the Hoggit GAW server and just trying to learn the jet. I'd do my manual startup and stored heading alignment, turn on IFF, turn on DL and off we go with datalink showing friendlies. For the first 3 days and ~15 or so launches, it worked. I got shot down, respawned and took off again except no more datalink. AWACS is still in the air, startup procedure is still the same, didnt change anything, but for the past two days, no matter what I cycled or reset or even restarted my computer, I cannot get the datalink to show up. Everyone else says theirs is working. I got on discord and streamed to a guy who doubled checked everything with me and even he is perplexed. In short, what conditions would cause the datalink on the F-16 to NOT work?
  10. Literally google "chucks guide F-16". I'm surprised its not more well known on here
  11. Best way is to get online. I'm a noobie with ~20 hours in her and I've been getting online the past week. After you get the basics of the ship, diving into SRS and getting online is a great way to quickly pick up the pace. Check out Hoggit's training server
  12. What do you have your curves set to? I have mine the same as Chuck's Guide and I did two successful AAR hookups for the first time, I've got maybe 20 hours in the jet. I thought it was one of the easiest "tasks" to handle, and I'm still trying to learn how to land the thing lol
  13. Okay, yes, "teknikully" it does but for all intents and purpose, its the same gain as T/O LDG which is the point I was making
  14. Opening the A/R door automatically sets the gains to takeoff/landing mode
