Maybe more will be added during early access, but one thing I really appreciate is the Jester Context Action
-
You can also double click the Jester context button

Right thanks, so maybe in another scenario, low and slow, it could help a little in a 1G extend? i haven't tested it yet, but actually I was also more curious if the HYPER switch ever would be used IRL combat maneuvering, which I doubt.
-
So to regain speed below 300 kts, it's combat flaps off, nose down and full throttle. However, a youtuber also suggested HYPER off to retract the slats for less resistance. Does he have a point?
-
Thanks for that video, it is very clear what you are talking about. It would be nice if anyone with a FFB stick could make a similar video, as I understand the claim is, this is not happening at all with FFB? Hopefully HB can clear some things up when they get the time to make the more detailed write up.

I tried mapping the trim to a rotary encoder on my throttle where I can define the hold time for each click. Default is 100ms and I found that a bit to sensitive, so I reduced it to 40ms hold time pr. click and that is way better. Now I can click several times for small adjustments. On the hat switch on the stick, the hold time begins when pushing the hat and ends when releasing the hat. This means it's impossible to make consistent hold times for each click. I think it would be better if it's possible to change the code, so a hold on the hat only sends one pulse of a predetermined length. A continued hold should then start repeating pulses to accommodate larger trim adjustments.

You can just click on the same spot where you took it on, then it will come off.
-
So much appreciated, thanks!

You don't need to use the mouse, you can press the W on the keyboard and then left ctrl+1 for 1 and left ctrl+2 for 2 etc. You can also map to buttons on your controller

I don't think anyone is arguing that the FM or input implementation is wrong. Visually it just looks odd that the 3D stick moves around when the stick on my desktop doesn't. Treat the input send to the sim exactly as you do now, but allow an option to let the - visual, and only visual - 3D position of the stick to be directly linked to the physical stick. Thanks for your hard work, it's a wonderful module!
-
If that's what's actually happening in this module, I'm genuinely curious to understand how this can be perceived as better or more realistic.
-
Right, that is actually a tiny o/oo. Thanks!
-
Same here, detent point can be adjusted and works as expected, but not the dead zone. I tried increasing the dead zone to 50% but didn't notice a difference
-
Yeah thanks @fausete for looking into this - great explanation!

Thanks, I've tried holding the button for at least 10 secs, but for some reason I can only launch F1EE wingtip missiles on a hot target (other jet or sun) There is another thread regarding an issue with the standby growl sound. I've experienced that too. Maybe it's related and the launch logic is still work in progres.
-
Yes sure, I know how the jettison works, I was just wondering why F1CE has a dedicated button for the wingtips but not the F1EE? I did try, but I'm clueless as to how to launch them unarmed and without a heat source
-
I could be wrong, but I don't think it's default, maybe @speed-of-heat is using a mod like Quaggles Command Injector It adds a bunch of extra commands
-
The F1CE has a guarded button "LARG. EXT." which releases the wingtip missiles. This button seems to have been removed from the F1EE. I'm curious why, anyone knows?
-
Utilize that most buttons has two functions, on and off. Add button press - here JOY_BTN21 - to F10, and button release - here JOY_BTN21_OFF - to F1 So map opens when button is held, and goes to cockpit view on release

Very nice work, really looking forward to try it out, both this one and the upcoming from the developers! One thing though, I think the underside should be aluminium and not light grey for this particular skin? I asked about this some time ago:
-
You didn't open the main fuel cock "Coupe Feu". It's still placed in front of the throttle like in the F1CE.
-
Many modules has some level of sun glare, scratches, fingerprints or reflections on their screens, but the M-2000 radar seems almost perfect black/clean in most conditions. Could this be adjusted? null Thanks for a great module!

Training Mission at Syria for the Mirage F1
lengro replied to Rudel_chw's topic in Missions and Campaigns
Thanks a lot for these training missions - impressive work! -
Beautiful picture of the underside, the sky reflection really highlights the aluminum , thanks!
-
It definitely looks like an aluminum underside in the second photo from your link. If you have a personal photo showing it even better, yes it would be nice if you posted it here, thanks It seems like Aerges used the light grey paint, so in real life I guess it might have been more like e.g. the MiG-21 as seen here: Thanks - it was the underside I was interested in, and as you point out, these things can be hard to spot due to camera settings etc.
