  1. My darling Thurst, first of all i don't need yours points and i don't want yours points at all: the only points i want, as everybody, are the ones i can gain when i score a kill, period. In air missiles and guns area i fight till the last bullet or i land or i disconnect because i must go. So if you say "copy flighter" with a big smile and then you do the opposite you are lying, period. I congratulate you because you are a phenomenon: you flight almost one hour in a area full of foe shooting missiles and nobody was able to kill you. In any case don't worry because you are not the only one and i don't wish you banned, i only wish people will follow rules on jdf to be all happy and, even if i lose vs players more skilled then me, if it was a fair fight i'll be happy the same.
  2. Hi Flighter Post edited as for your request
  3. I suggest you the AMD 6800x insted of 3080 Nvidia :)
  4. 220, max 230 kias
  5. Thank you IronMike :) The video is interesting. I thought Paco met F15 during his period on F14 but i was wrong. What would be really interesting, is an F14 pilot who really met F15 and fought with flaps but perhaps we are talking about few person. Anyway, if somebody who had such experience apart Snort exist and you know his name, please let me know. Thanks again, you are very kind
  6. Is it possible to ask to ED to anticipate the patch day or to let to HB a his own patch day due to the numerous fixes that are necessary? Almost a month with the broken drag and the others problems it's really long :cry_2:and you have already fixed many stuff, thanks
  7. Yes of course, but stop thinking that nvidia is the only choice for best performance. Consider also that the user in question has already proved reliable in the past
  8. Wrong :) 6900XT is the fastest card and, with DCS, it perform better then 3090, there is a leak of a user in the forum (Aurelius)
  9. A very interesting report on the F-14's Slat and Flap System from a Former Turkey Maintainer http://www.zone-five.net/showthread.php?t=18706 A user also write: "when the fleet got DFCS (Digital Flight Control System), in 1999/2000 the flap/slat lockout rate for everyone went down unbelievably"
  10. Who knows? Perhaps Paco could also tell us some of the stories about duels between F14 and F15, it would be great! I'll remind you for sure to contact him :D
  11. It would be great! I think the favour it's not only to me but to everybody who loves the Cat, Thanks
  12. Interesting, thank you :)
  13. I'm sure the contribution the SMEsone are giving is really exceptional and i thank them. On the other hand i find Paco's experience really interesting because it seems he had several opportunities to experiment full flaps vs F15 :)
  14. Thank you IronMike, you gave me/us many interesting informations :) I really hope Paco can give his important feedback very soon!!!
  15. Thank you IronMike, you understood what i mean. Also i'm interested to realism and i would like to understand deeply. It' s difficult to me understand how, a pilot who made all that damagese to many aircraft, made also a very important and long career. It would be logical to think his superior punished him but instead they let him have a brilliant career You forgot to mention that this happened 10 years after he was retired and with a private plane and not during his duty in the US Navy I've read somewhere Snort beated Hoser 2:1 in a 1vs1 I understood, i agree and i'm also grateful to them Ok Paco said "could" and not "will break for sure". He also said "then incrementally lower the flaps beyond the normal maneuver setting", if i try to move the lever it's enough to move it just a little bit and the flaps become immediatly jammed You can be sure i'll accept the flaps change when i'll be sure the actual setting match with real life. I'm also really grateful and i appreciate you for the time you spent to answer me, this is also an answare to anybody have my same questions :)
  16. I think bug section is the wrong section to talk about full flaps. I think that full flaps for F14 is very similar to overclock your CPU and GPU: There is some interesting headroom but you do at your own risk because "oveclock" works near the limit. Could you explain what you do not approve of the way they handled the flap damage model? I'm curious :)
  17. I have a Reverb G1 and i fly F14 so high resolution means high memory usage expecially with the Tomcat, so DCS uses all the 11 Gb of my 1080TI
  18. The title of the thread is "Turn rate has tanked with new update" and flaps help turn rate a lot at low speed, now you understand?
  19. And are you used to speaking ill of people without reporting any facts? Please, don't mention Jesus Christ that has nothing to do with it, thank you
  20. Sorry but it's very difficult to believe at the image of Snodgrass you gave, because, if what you say is true, how is possible he scored this career: US Navy highlights include: One of the first two Navy Flight School Graduates to be selected for F-14 Tomcat training. CW Lemoine Mover perhaps? He never flied on F14...
  21. I repeat, you have the contact: why don't you ask him? Perhaps he pulled circuit breaker before take off?
  22. I have a 1080ti and all the 11gb of its memory are used with VR also with medium details. So sorry but i don't agree with you.
  23. This is not the case, the 3080 is fine. I have one. This whole VRAM thing is like a meme at this point. Edited
  24. You forgot Snodgrass that in the video below say he used full flaps at 325 knots. He have almost 5000 hours on the Tomcat...
