Allright, I uninstalled the mods and put them in after 1.01. No problem so far. Close methinks :)

From what I've seen you have done a great job on the patch. Installation went smooth and I didn't have to change format (Win 7 x64). Maybe it's just me but the sim seemed smoother. I just had a great free flight scouting for a train to land on. I didn't succeed this time though. I like that you added sound effects for the ABRIS buttons and the helmet mounted sight when using joystick buttons. Also it's nice to have sound effect for the trim system, which works great now! Thanks a lot ED :D

Do you think there will be any problems?

I just successfully installed the patch. I didn't have to swith format and my key config was saved. I had to reset gfx settings only. Strange only some people have to change format.

Do you also have to change language on Windows 7 x64 RC? (isn't this kind of stupid ED?) Also, do I really have to setup my joystick once again??? It took several days to set it up...

Thanks. After having tested both curvature -10 and 0, I find 0 to be best. -10 is just to sensitive for my taste. I had been using curvature +17 until now, 0 feels better indeed.

Would you be so kind to write what settings you recommend? Others, feel free to tip in as well. :) (I'm using a X52 Pro) Joy Y: Saturation X: Saturation Y: Curvature: Joy X: Saturation X: Saturation Y: Curvature: I don't want any dead zone, so I've left that out.

i know there is a mod that makes the status bar transparent. i can't find it now though.

Very impressive list. Good work and thanks for the update! I look forward to the new trimmer logic. Will the new patch enable us to land on trains? I though Glowing Amraam mentioned that when he posted the "fun with trains" video. I do hope some day that the ground unit AI will be improved so that they scatter and move about when under attack. Sometimes it can feel a bit like a shooting gallery when attacking ground targets.

visibility needs to be medium or low. effects = 2 and shadows = 2 really helps. You can also turn water completely off.

what was the fix? i got the same. edit: fixed, saw post with new version on page 3.

I just wish they soon release the Ah-64a/d with the ability to share cockpit online! Gunship 2000 - Oh, that was amazing on the Amiga.

I haven't played DCS:BS for a while due to an installation of Win 7 RC and the awesome Arma 2, but I'm currently in process of reinstalling it. Can't wait. It just sucks that I have to reconfigure my X52 Pro, G25 pedals and Trackir once again - That will take hours :( But DCS:BS is for me the best simulation of an aircraft made to date. Once you get comfortable with all the avionics, you become one with it. And multiplayer rocks! As you say Flyby - It depends on the mission designers skills. Luckily you can download lots of great missions from this very site. I feel very immersed with this sim.

Awesome idea and video. I really laughed at the end. :D I will do the same at my local game shops in Denmark..

I use it when I'm using rockets, unguided canon, formation flying and also when performing acrobatic maneuvers.
