I wasn't aware of that, but after reading your post, I started noticing the small vibration in DCS, with the Crystal and LH faceplate. I don´t know if this behaviour can be seen outside DCS.

Do you mean inside DCS? Or in the HOTAS software configuration?

Having an 8kx, I will receive the Crystal in less than 2 weeks, I'm curious about how small or large is the FOV, depending on the review, it is very small, or it is enough... so relative. But in my case, my IPD is too low, and setting up the 8kx was terrible, the image is always blurred... so let´s see with the new glasses.

My IPD is low (57), that's why I'm asking. Concerning the FOV, I'm afraid of that... I love large FOV. I read there some new lenses for increasing the FOV, but probably the clarity will decrease, at the end it's a trade off....

I tried it again, and I don't know what I did yesterday, but now it runs as expected. The OXRTK FPS counter shows coherent frametimes, and most of the time I run at 90 FPS. Not sure yet if I get any benefit from running at 90 Hz compared to 60 Hz, need to do more tests, but what is the adverse effect that people feels? I also run at normal FOV, wide FOV decreases the clarity, so for me, the normal FOV is a very good trade-off.

Hi, I'm used to set the Pimax 8kx at 60 Hz, getting good performance at high settings without MR (even with SteamVR and MSAA x2), but I wanted to try your 90 Hz settings with OpenXR (FFR and CAS), as the experience could be even better. The performance results were not the expected, I hardly maintain 90 FPS (instant action missions), and the DCS FPS counter says I was "CPU BOUNDED", which is strange considering that I run the MT version. I tried to see the CPU/GPU frametimes in DCS FPS counter, but no success, maybe I should try the ones provided by openxr toolkit. In any case, I need to research the issue of "CPU BOUNDED", any tip? Maybe something related with the selected E-core and P-core? BTW, my rig is composed of a 13900K (@5.6 GHz) and 4090 (slightly overclocked) Thanks

I think that I will stay in MT version with SteamVR, I will do some performance tests for comparing results.

And why not going back SteamVR? At least until these problems are solved...

Yesterday I noticed this same effect after switching back from the map view. But after exiting the mission and entering again in another one, it recovered from the previous bad behaviour.

MT version seems to be fine with OpenXR support, but if I try with SteamVR I get a lot of spikes. Someone else is getting this problem?

And today I realized that the licenses have gone, getting a message about the installed modules will be disabled in 2 days. What is going on? Hi, did you install DCS on the Macbook Pro? I'm trying to do it with Parallels but I get an error during installation, saying that I need an x64 platform. I just want to run DCS for quick testing... not for flying. Thanks
