lolwut? That's impossible. And bout that 24fps thing and our eyes not being able to perceive more is inaccurate. It's sufficient for movies because of blur and some other stuff, but it's a whole different story for pc monitors. Actually the most important thing is imho minimum fps at any given time.

Disabling pagefile is hit or miss. You may get problems with other programs, or you won't encounter any. But in any case you do not get any objectively noticeable performance increase. Placebo effect anyone?

Imho the most important question is not which aircraft is going to come after DCS:A-10, but whether the next module will have a fully working ground radar, which would be awesome. Since I kinda doubt it, it sadly rules out a lot of candidates. But I'll be glad to be proven wrong =D

In that case you certainly didn't hit him. I just tested it and while I admit that it'll take a lot of rounds if you're attacking the tank's front armor, it takes considerably less by attacking from behind or from the a higher angle/top. And you have to consider that the cannon is now a much more inaccurate compared to FC 1.1.

You may want to d/l the install files beforehand and burn to a cd/copy on a usb key. And if it's no the RU version, make sure the one, you're buying FC 2.0 for, has already LOMAC or FC ^^

Once the gauge for left and right are dropping/counting from some 6100lb down, which means that the drop tanks are empty. That happens at around 12000lb (left+right). With 100% and 3 tanks the gauge reads iirc about 23000lb. But that doesn't actually matter, i.e. when you have only 1 drop tank/2 tanks, since you always know that they're empty, once you hit 12000lb (6100lb left and right each).

Well don't just quickstart F-15 and sit there. External view looking down also works. And it's not to check FPS, but to see if there's a difference in fidelity with maximum(incl max aa/af) and minimum settings.

Yes, because in Su-33 quickstart you're over a lot of water, which in my case gives me an FPS boost (100+FPS) while in F-15 quickstart flying high over a lot of ground, the FPS is much more realistic (50's-60's).

Ah, sorry, you misunderstood me, I meant that warning light charts are not in the FC 2.0 manual, although they've been in the original 1.0 manual. As the layout is different for each RU plane, a seperate chart for each plane would've been nice <- that is actually done in the "Lock_On_Reference_Manual.pdf" which came with the original LOMAC or Flamig Cliffs.

Switching any hardware of a laptop is not that easy as with a desktop. In most cases it may not even work because of size or it'd just plain expensive. Did you try max/min settings while looking at the ground in F-15 quickstart to rule out a hardware/driver failure?

It's the same with any other axis. Define axis-> Click add under the x52 coloumn next to radar horizontal/vertical and rotate the rotary until it's detected.

Not at all. It only hinders the number of how many times you can reinstall after a major hardware/OS change ^^ But an explanatory mail to ED when you're out of activations (which should take a while) shouldn't be any problem at all I suppose.
