Jep, hört sich an, als wärst du zu niedrig, denn nur dann schalten sich die APs hab (was sich in dem Blinken der 3 Knöpfe äußert), wenn du Autohover aktivierst.
But that's the whole point, the servers are not stable. And although ppl can just play MP now without doing the trainings it's still unstable and ppl often get disconnected from the servers without any apparent reason.
Apart from that performance is pretty bad since some effects (e.g. motion blur) are hardly optimized/not optimized at all.
Thought you, OP dude, might be interested if you havent seen this yet.

Looks okayish I guess, will probably break down pretty soon though, shipping September. Pedals are not force feedback however.
That's a better quota than trying to start some training missions, e.g. the third: 100% crash/program freeze.
A different studio is further developing it now, which means that it'll take even longer to get AA3 to a playable level.
Is it in reality common procedure to use a 30mm cannon against MBTs? Perhaps apart from rear or top armor (and I don't even know about that particularly) is it even possible that 30mm rounds can penetrate the front armor? Dunno bout that, honest question.
Likely no calibration issue.
You're probably fighting the autopilot.

Especially the paragraph about auto hover. Auto hover is no magic-immediate-bring-heli-into-stable-hover-button.
If you engage auto pilot [sorry, meant auto hover here] >4m the AFCS will go insane and you just lost your autopilots (right hand console, lil blue square buttons are blinking). And without them it only get's worse since input is not dampened anymore.
Looks interesting, but we will have to see about durability or teething problems. I mean it's their very first hotas (am i wrong?), and I somehow doubt the very first pieces will achieve a long life which is kinda necessary for 300$, isn't it?
As of right now, 1) is possible due to a glitch, when you press ESC twice. Anyway that option will be implemented as an official option in the next patch afaik.
Lock On was not a real 'study' flight sim and it's fairly old. Anyway the MFD doesn't have different modes in Lock On, dunno how it's in reality.
Afaik their policy of modelling only aircraft they have enough info about applies to their newest creation: the DCS series.
pff, the question is not if TrackIR is worth it, but which one is worth it ^^
Either TIR4 or TIR5. I'm still not convinced yet, that an upgrade from 4 to 5 will have noticeable, drastic improvements. I'm happy to be proven wrong though ^^
Horrible stick, have one myself and after a couple of weeks, there were serious calibration/precision issues. Whatever you do, don't get that one.
Perhaps there's a nice joystick from Saitek, dunno. Anyway Saitek is a decent brand.
